Lovely house in a hill top village
The house in Montaulieu has beautiful views from the roof top terrace and a shaded terrace in the small garden in front of the house, which was very nice during the heat. The interior has a nice modern touch with a spacious kitchen and living room and a ensuite bedroom upstairs. Another bedroom is in the basement and has a separate entrance. We were very well taken care of from the friendly owner who lives next door. He arranged a man to repair the wifi that didn't function very well first but after repairing it was perfect. Close to all kinds of little villages, Nyons and the Eygues river for a refreshing swim it was the perfect place for us to stay. We had a relaxing week and really look forward coming back one day.

Au calme dans un beau village perché avec une vue magnifique
Gîte très agréable avec une belle terrasse à l'étage et un petit coin jardin pour lire ou déjeuner sous l' ombre fraîche d'un tilleul. Très fonctionnel, vous êtes parfaitement indépendant. Alain et Marie-Benoîte sont des hôtes discrets et très sympatiques. On se sent tout de suite chez soi au milieu des montagnes (mont Angèle, 1400m) dans ce charmant petit village perché à 500 mètres d'altitude. Vue magnifique et, la nuit, la voie lactée comme on ne la voit plus en ville. De là, on peut découvrir la Drôme provençale si belle ( not. les Baronnies, Nyons, Grignan, Brantes, le Toulourenc et l'Ouvèze etc.) et moins connue que le Vaucluse, loin des grandes affluences touristiques.

Annonce pas trop conforme à a réalité
Effectivement, la situation de cette "maison de village" (et non "petite maison perchée sur un piton rocheux", comme l'annonce le laisse entendre) est plutôt chouette. Nous avons passé un bon séjour, car entre visites des villages alentours et excursions / activités diverses, il y a pas mal de choses à faire dans les environs. Ce qui nous a chagriné, c'est la différence entre ce que décrit l'annonce et la réalité du gite. En effet, il est mentionné : - "petite maison perchée sur un piton rocheux". On imagine déjà le merveilleux vertige ! Déception : il s'agit en fait d'une maison de village, collée à d'autres maisons, dans un hameau qui lui est perché sur une petite montagne (et non sur un "piton rocheux" qui relève d'une toute autre définition). - Rubrique "Chambres et lits", il est noté "2 chambres". Il y a en réalité une chambre à l'étage et un canapé lit dans le salon du rez-de-chaussée. Donc, il ne s'agit pas de "2 chambres". Par ailleurs, comme il n'y a pas de porte (ou fermeture) entre ces 2 espaces de couchage, on entend distinctement les sons de chacune des pièces. Autant dire qu'il n'y a pas d'intimité possible... Alors, même si c'est le site d'Abritel qui ne permet pas de distinguer - dans cette rubrique - la différence entre une chambre et une pièce avec canapé lit, cela aurait pu être précisé dans l'annonce. Si nous l'avions su, nous n'aurions pas loué, car nous souhaitions des chambres distinctes. - Concernant la location de la chambre supplémentaire, le tarif n'est pas indiqué dans l'annonce. Contacter le propriétaire. A part ça, on a passé un excellent séjour.
