room was filled with roaches, no option to switch room ,fridge leaked . when i complain to staff they say these are privately owned, and its the owners responsibility for pest control and repairs.
It was dirty, everthing you touched was sticking and lits if mold. Bathroom was from the dark ages and mold. Paid too much for this and was ver concerning because of the mold and healthissues.
I enjoyed my stay at the property. The room was spacious. I love the idea that the patio was overlooking the beach. If you have a question or concern management was ready to assist. I would advise anyone looking for accommodation to stay at the resort. And if cooking is your thing, there is also a kitchen.
Tv wasnât working. Maintenance couldnât fix it. Could not get towels when we asked. The room had 2 towels total. No soap in bathroom
No pots to cook with only silverware and dishes
They originally said they didnât have a room for us as they thought we were supposed to arrive 2 days earlier. Very disappointing!!
Ability to walk across the street to get to Dr Cave Beach. It is an old building from my 1st stay 26 yrs ago,but the elevators work well and have been upgraded. The unit was very clean upon arrival but one of the porch chairs needed to be cleaned or replaced. The mattress was stained but the sheets were clean. Recommend replacing the stained mattress or install with a cover that can be cleaned or replaced as stains occur. Security is excellent and at door at all times.
Nice location, quiet, lots of shopping, restaurants.
Some units need upgrade but if you are the party Type and just want somewhere to crash|sleep this is an ideal spot. Not your 7 star experience.
First off I did not received the room that I reviewed and paid for, then when I asked for a room changed I was shown a room where the bathroom ceiling was leaking and a bucket was catching the water. My original ocean view room was on the side of the building where I was looking at the back and roof of the neighboring building with a bunch of electrical wires and garbage. To glimpse the ocean you had to stand up and peer over several roof tops. The furniture needs to be updated both on the inside and the balcony and the building needs power washing. Anyway, the room was depressing even the closets had locks on them. I ended up checking out the following day.
The room i was in hot water didnât work they took forever to come fix it. Room had an odor to it. They had to transfer me to another room which smelled like feet⊠the balcony door wouldnât lock
I like the ambience, room was well design, lovely view from balcony. Thought it was not cleaned prior to us checking in, no towels, patio furniture was dirty, when we received towels, they smell smokey,
Do not reserve this property. Owner who offers this property through expedia falsely advertised the condition, the view and the amount of beds. It wasn't ready upon arrival and we were homeless for the first two days of our vacation. Expedia did nothing to fix it after four hours of being on the phone with them. Transferred to another hotel that was unsafe and unhealthy to stay. Finally we were given a room with two beds ocean view and they tried to double charge us. After a very uncomfortable "argument" with desk staff we got a room that was filthy. I took multiple pictures and believe i deserve a refund from expedia because they shouldn't be using rooms with owners who falsley advertise these beautiful studio condos with pictures that are nothing close to what you actually get. You could imagine being homeless for two days and expedia not placing you in a hotel somewhere else to accommodate. I forgot to mention we tried going back to original room just to have shelter but it was rented by the owner without expedias release. Terrible communication all around and both expedia and the owner/hotel did nothing to fix it. Do not stay here unless you know one of the owners personally. They cared less that this was all happening. Apparently it happens often. The worst experience I've ever had in all my traveling experiences.
