The linens was placed for 2 people even tho 4 people booked the room. We called at 7pm to make the sofa bed and no one came till after 3rd call at 11pm. Day staff was absolutely amazing!! The night shift front desk staff was rude and very short on the phone. We were in room 2409. The closet door next to our room came unlatched, which slammed ALL day due to wind. That took A LONG time to get someone to address ad well. It took me taking pics and recording it just to get it address. But over all stay was okay, this was my 3rd visit,

Ok, stated 8 days 7 nights with my husband and 2 kids. We had 2 rooms booked on the Ocean Coral Spring side (ocean view). Rooms are very dated. Not dirty but upgrades are needed. I usually don’t get housekeeping but we opted in because of the kids tracking sand in. They did an OK job. AC works in the room and the fan was an added bonus because it kept us cool as well. The restaurants were not the greatest. Hibachi was probably the best option flavor wise. Unfortunately, we saw a roach in one of the restaurants on the wall and my husband saw one in the men’s bathroom. After seeing that, I was a nervous wreck looking around at everything and losing my appetite. Staff was always nice, so they more than made up for anything that I looked at as not good. The pushy sales was a HUGE turnoff for me. I have been to a few all inclusive resorts and have never experienced that. The pool was extremely cold. I’m assuming because it was the winter months and it cools a lot during to cooler night weather. My kids (14,12,8,6) loved the kids pool area, yes even the teenager lol. All in all, I would likely not come to this resort again, especially for the money we paid. We love Jamaica so if it wasn’t for the people and staff, we would have left that resort and went to another.

I wish I could say something good about this place, everything went wrong from the time we got there, it was our 30 anniversary and we requested a king bed, they gave us 2 queen beds and told us king bed is based on availability, we talked to several people at the front desk, then we asked for manager, she told us to stay at the room with 2 queen bed, don’t unpack and the next day they will move us to a king bed room, she told us consider her as her best friend and she be at from desk to take of everything, we went there the next day at 11:00, they said she on vacation for the next three days and no one knew what we are talking about, we had to explain everything to the next few people who were no help to us, this place is so dirty, hair is everywhere, in the pool, in the rooms, in the hallways and well as being so dirty, the beach area is so rocky, I had so many cuts on my feet trying to swim. I can’t believe Expedia would deal with a place like this. I should mention that we found out there was an Expedia rep. Available at the hotel and they were very helpful and finally moved us to a new room, but everything was so stressful.

The room was nice and the hotel staff were all great. However - on checking in to the hotel they asked that I participate on one of their promotional event (selling access to rooms). Whilst the product was ok - I find that the people selling them are very aggressive, too aggressive for that matter and dont take a no for what it is a no. They want to guilt you into saying yes to purchase this holiday package that I did not need however they tried to make me feel like I was making the wrong life choice. And when they finally accepted my no - they walked away and don the pleasantries stop there. The guy looked at me after I got up and wouldn't say thanks for you time or anything like that. I took more than 90 minutes out of my vacation and got nothing, not a thank you or anything else. When you stand up to them and say no - they make you feel like you're the bad person for wasting their time. It's too much pressure and I can imagine lots of people buy these packages because of that pressure they apply. Its not fair - let the people enjoy their vacation without the pressure of these overtly aggressive sails (men/women) Again - I did not appreciate that part of they stay however the hotel staff were quite pleasant and helpful. It's the other guys OMG HORRIBLE!!!

Everything went well, the place is nice but need more activities. Most of the staff were nice but need to smile to customers more. I know people are going through a lot but cheerful customer service warms people's hearts. There were some who were very welcoming but most had a straight face at the first sight. We enjoyed our stay, felt safe and had fun. The Red Snapper menu could also use a change at least every other day or twice a week. Variety is the spice of life. Overall, i'd recommend the resort for friends and loved ones. Thanks for having us.

This poor review comes from a number of things. I understand the country had a hurricane recently so a lot of things were overlooked. But the majority of the negative review are all things within there control, First of all the check in process was long, our party went to get a drink while waiting and waited at the bar for 5 minutes with zero service. Checked in and immediately got approached to go with the concierge team so they could try to get us to join the travel club which took 2 hours out of our day. The pools are cold. Including the jacuzzi tubs. The people minus a select few acted inconvenienced by us. We had very little service in the privileged area, or really anywhere even when tipping regularly. The drinks at the bars were all inconsistent and tasted terrible. The food, we found very little that was edible or that would stay in our body for very long. Sakura was great, and the privilege lounge was decent but the rest were less than desirable . Dasiah at the Expedia desk was amazing, and Milton by the Pool were both great to chat with. The rooms were mediocre at best, grounds were semi dirty all the time and there seemed to be a lot of the workers that just had the demeanor that “it’s not my job”. Jamaica outside the resort was amazing and as stated we had a great experience with a few people but overall would not come back to this resort.

Our stay at Ocean Coral Springs for a 60th birthday was amazing! From the check in with Georgia at the front desk to check out everything went smoothly. Natesha at Martha's Market checked on us our very first morning and arranged a special meal of Jamaican foods for our next day. Our family of Jamaican and Jamericans were overwhelmingly grateful and she followed up each day to ensure we were happy with the service. Kelly Ann served the family style breakfast, and Chef Fabian came out to speak to us after, which was so lovely and made us feel like VIPs. Latoya at the Italian restaurant, Joyce, Vernal, and Shane (who sang to us on our last day) all gave such attentive and friendly service. For the 60th birthday beachside dinner there was a beautiful setup and all of the food was delicious. I will say that going forward if there is a smaller romantic party maybe giving them more space from a louder more boisterous one (such as ours) for their comfort and privacy. Also I think having a team of people to set out the food initially would make things go smoother especially for the server who was also bombarded with requests for drinks, condiments etc. Everything was clean, operational and efficient in spite of having a natural disaster just a month before our trip! Most importantly I would stay here again and recommend the hotel to anyone looking for accommodations in Jamaica!
