The Scott's were great
Very beautiful property located in the Richmond area stayed a week with my mom, stepdad , toddler and infant to celebrate my moms 71st birthday. Ms.Nadine was easy to get a hold of and prompt with her response to our questions - her mom which greeted us at the property was very delightful and Ms.Nadine provided complimentary water upon our arrival which was great. This 3 bedroom 2 bathroom was great. The beds were very comfortable- there is an ac unit in every room including the living room with the options of ceiling fans and additional smaller fans which provided for optimal climate control within the home. The front patio was where my mom enjoyed her daily nap as it is enclosed with a ceiling fan so she was able to lay outside and take in the view without fear of the heat. My 3 year old had a blast as the Scott's created a toddler area within the home for visitors with kids which was very thoughtful- there were games for her to play with and books on the patio for reading with her- she had hrs of fun playing with the various items and enjoyed story time with the Sofia story book. I enjoyed playing dominoes with my mom and family visitors that stopped by and the occasional ludy game which brought back wonderful memories of the past as a child. We also had a great time at the pool as there are several sister communities that you could visit - we went to cool shade to use their infinity pool as the one for this specific property was under renovation. The community was nice and quite all the time which was great. On the drive out of the community you have a glimpse of the ocean. There is a private beach which is a short car ride away. We had a great time and our friends and family that came to visit at various times throughout our stay also had a great time visiting with us. Ocho Rios was only a 15-20 minute drive based on traffic..property is very safe and secure and the security guards at the gate were very courteous. Wifi was great in the living area but very spotty if in the bedrooms.
The home had required refreshing and Ms.Nadine had someone come over and she did an excellent job freshening up the living space , bedrooms and bathrooms.
My only suggestion for the Scott's is for a washing machine to be installed as this will come in very handy for long term renters. I would definitely rent this property again in the future as it truly felt like home away from home.
