I had made a reservation for an ocean view room; however, upon arriving at the property and opening the curtains, I was disappointed to find that my view was obstructed by surrounding buildings. Additionally, I had been informed of a lobster dinner event scheduled for that evening, with a price tag of $90 per person. It's worth noting that I had originally booked an all-inclusive resort package. Furthermore, I observed unsightly wet stains on the headboard of my bed. Consequently, I requested a room change to one that corresponded to the category I had initially reserved and paid for. Regrettably, I was informed that there were no available rooms meeting my booking criteria, and the staff's attitude was less than accommodating. In my attempt to address these issues, I reached out to Travelocity for assistance. Regrettably, they conveyed their inability to help me secure a refund or resolution for the situation. In light of these ongoing concerns and the dissatisfaction I experienced, I made the decision to check out of the property and relocate to Secrets. This choice resulted in a financial loss of $3,300. I trust that this comprehensive account provides you with a clear understanding of the circumstances surrounding my stay.

Our stay was great but be careful because on your last day there they will take something. They stole my perfume and husbands cologne. Their policy states to put valuables in the safe but I never would've thought they would steal some smell good. For that reason alone I wouldn't recommend them because you want to feel that your belongings are safe in your room. I reached out to them twice already and have yet to hear back.

This was supposed to be a High-End resort.

Pros: Rooms were nice and clean.
Cons: Pool was cold. Service was slow. Bars not stocked well. No spa open yet. No hand rails in pool. Only one restaurant most nights. beach not nice.
Location: Location is very good as it is 5 min from the airport.
Old resort and not ready for guests. Bars not stocked very well and service was slow. They ran out of basics and did not know how to make some basic drinks such as a bloody mary. Pool was very cold, small and no hand rails. Beach was small and not very appealing. Ocean bottom was not sandy. it was sea weed and mucky. The spa was not open. There was NO hot tub. Food options were not good. Usually only one restaurant was open. We have been to many All-Inclusive's including a few Secrets and this place did not measure up to any of them.
