Sanctuary Vacation Rentals is proud to present “The Seagull’s Nest”! Home sleeps up to 6 guests.

The best of past and present are combined in this historic Victorian cottage in downtown Pacific Grove, within easy walking distance of the beach as well as dining, shopping and the local movie theater. Or you may just want to relax and enjoy views of the bay from the cozy living room, decorated to reflect the coastal environment.

The blue and white 3-bedroom, 2-bath residence, built in 1905, has been updated to offer modern conveniences while still embracing its vintage roots. The pet-friendly home also has a back patio that is fenced for privacy, a perfect place to enjoy a backyard barbecue or a glass of wine in the evenings.

The home is within walking distance of the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row, and just a few blocks from the Monterey Bay Recreation Trail, a popular place for cycling and walking. Also close by are the world-class golf courses and restaurants of Pebble Beach®. Other attractions within a 30-45 minute drive are the natural wonders of Big Sur and wine tasting and dining in Carmel Valley Village.

Hardwood floors and recessed lighting can be found throughout the 1,092-square-foot home, with walls painted in a soft shade of tan and complementary décor in blues, whites and taupe for a soothing ambiance. The fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances and a dining area that seats six. A convenient master bedroom on the first floor has an HDTV and an en suite bath.

Living Spaces
Guests enter the home via a short flight of stairs to the porch, where the red front door opens into the entryway and living room. Views of the Monterey Bay can be glimpsed from the living room, which features a 48-inch HDTV, roman shades and cozy seating.

Kitchen and Dining
The adjacent kitchen features granite countertops, vintage-look cabinetry and stainless steel appliances, including a four-burner gas stove. A gooseneck kitchen faucet and double sink make cleanups a snap. A dining area at the end of the kitchen looks out over rooftops of other historic buildings in the downtown area. The back door leads to an outdoor patio area decorated with string lights and succulents, offering patio seating and a gourmet gas grill.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Downstairs, Bedroom #1 offers a queen bed, TV, direct access to the back patio and an updated en suite bathroom with a shower.

Also downstairs, a sleek hallway bathroom with a pocket door features hexagonal tile floors, a corner shower with custom tile, and a glass basin sink.

Upstairs, Bedroom #2 features a queen bed and built-in storage.
Bedroom #3 has a king bed and a peek of the bay.
Please note that both bathrooms are downstairs.

A laundry closet near the living spaces offers a stacked washer and dryer.

Parking is available on the street.

One well-behaved dog under 30 lbs is welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.
Dogs must never be left unattended in the house or in the yard and should not disturb neighbors with barking.

Great Little House!
We enjoyed our stay in Pacific Grove at Seagull's Nest. Walking distance to the Aquarium, Lover's Point, bike path, farmer's market, and downtown restaurants. Little market also close by. We traveled with son, DIL, and toddler. It was great to have a dining area and kitchen traveling with a toddler as we ended up doing a lot of take out and eating at home. Living area was fine for 4 adults; would be tight with 6. Beds were comfortable and house was overall, well appointed. We would stay again.

We loved the house! It was very nice, clean & conveniently located. The location was great. Restaurants only a block away, we loved the Victorian restaurant for breakfast! The kitchen was well stocked. We ate out mostly but did eat breakfast there. Would have liked a regular toaster, the toaster oven didn’t work very good. Would definitely stay again. We have 2 golden retrievers & it was nice to have a backyard & walking to the Lover’s Point Park was so nice. Great ocean front!

Great house and location
Family of 5 adults stayed there for my sons wedding in Carmel. It was an easy location to wherever we needed to go. I was up early every morning walking the path along the ocean. Great coffee, lunch and dinner right around the corner. Home was immaculate and had everything we needed. Parking was easy in front of the house. I would definitely stay here again.
