Sanctuary Vacation Rentals is proud to present "La Casa de Estrella Marie"! This home sleeps up to 4 adults and 3 children.

This recently remodeled, single-level home is freshly furnished and appointed with everything you need for a perfect beach getaway.
Centrally located on the central California coast near Monterey Bay and all Monterey Peninsula destinations including the Monterey Bay Aquarium, numerous beaches and special events like Monterey Car Week and the Carmel Bach Festival.

Del Rey Oaks is a quiet tiny town that borders Monterey and Seaside. This neighborhood is made up of single family homes with large lots and is located near a 17 acre wetland preserve. The location makes this home an easy commute to everywhere you want to visit from Santa Cruz to San Francisco, scenic drives along historic Highway 1 to Big Sur or the famed 17 Mile DriveÂź in Pebble BeachÂź.

Living Space
This 1,433 sf home is situated on a quiet street. The home has a living room and a separate family room. The Smart TV in the family room is wifi-enabled and ready for guests to log into their streaming services to access their favorite programming (guests should bring their own logins).

The kitchen has all new appliances and fresh finishes to delight the chefs in your group. Everything you need to prepare delicious meals is at your fingertips. Please note that this kitchen does not have a dishwasher. And when you want to dine out, a plethora of options are found in nearby coastal towns like Carmel-by-the-Sea, Monterey and Pacific Grove.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Bedroom #1 has a king bed.
Bedroom #2 has a queen bed.
Bedroom #3 has a twin up/twin down bunk bed with a pull-out trundle, perfect for children.

The home has a full bathroom with a shower-over-tub and a half bathroom.

The home has a large back yard with a bocce ball court and outdoor games like corn hole and croquet are provided along with a propane BBQ grill, making this a wonderful family destination. The entire property is fenced.

The front of the property has a low fence and a gate at the driveway.
Two vehicles can park inside the gate in the driveway. Additional parking is found outside the fence, near the street. The garage is not available for guest use.
There is an EV (electrical vehicle) charger available located outside of the garage which has an IEEE compliant cable. Tesla drivers will need to have an IEEE adaptor to be able to use. If in doubt, bring your own cord and adaptor.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.

Perfect family getaway! The location was within 15 minutes of everything yet away from town (downtown Monterey) so you had the quiet and peace of the suburbs. The huge yard was great for dogs and the patio with BBQ grill worked great! The host was Awesome!! They left a nice gift (which we didn’t use) but checked with us twice just to see if everything was good (which it was). Already talking about when we can stay here again.

Cozy Little House with Plenty of Amenities

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hands down one of the best places my pals and I stayed at on our annual Monterey trips (and we've been taking this trip for years!)! The house was lovely and well maintained with plenty of beds and seating areas. The kitchen had practically everything we needed (though a pizza cutter would've been helpful) and enough space for a few of us to work on dinner together. The customer service was phenomenal and very prompt whenever I called with a question. We were a little confused by the trash situation and we would've benefitted on a primer for at least when the trash cans needed to go out on the curb before we arrived, but otherwise we figured out the sorting with no issue. All in all, La Casa de Estrella Marie was perfect for my friends and me and we'd love to visit again next year!

Great for families!

There's a giant yard which is good for outdoor games, suggest bringing your rc monster trucks if you have them. It was easy to drive to everything we wanted to go to. Lots of great beaches nearby. The location felt safe and secure. They had everything a family could need! My son loved the popcorn maker, bunk beds and games. Our baby was comfortable in the pack n play and high chair. My mother in law found her room to be peaceful and comfortable. Had all the cooking supplies we needed.

Great Spot. Well Equipped

Wonderful house. A few things could use upgrades kitchen sink for example, but the house came well stocked with all the essentials to make a proper dinner. Huge back yard. They allowed me to bring my dogs and driving a Tesla, access to charge my car was well worth it. Wonderful experience.

The backyard is full of stickers, not very fun to play in. The house photographed well, but was definitely not as appealing in person (shout out to the photographer). The bathroom needs a new shower curtain liner and the cleaning was bare minimum. Absolutely livable, not gross, but also not what I would expect to be a thorough cleaning before we arrived.

Great place, great location, great stay!

We were headed up to the Monterey area for spring break, traveling with 3 children (7, 5, 1.5 y/o) and 4 adults. We found this place, which seemed to have the perfect combination of location, space, and a reasonable rate. Our stay went great! Ample space for everyone to spread out and equipped with enough for the kids that we probably didn't need to lug as much as we did. The house was well positioned near Monterey and surrounding areas that it was not a problem to get where we wanted to be for our activities. About 15 min to Monterey/Cannery Row. Overall a great stay and would definitely consider returning to this property again.

The home was very comfortable for our family of 6 (grandparents, parents and two teenagers). It was probably one of the best equipped houses we stayed in. From the spices in the kitchen, to the big TVs, games, bedding, bathroom extras like make-up wipes, the brand new BBQ grill it was really great. We did not have need of extra help during our stay but I am sure they would have made every effort to help us out. It was very quite and a quick drive to shopping and to Monterey.

Great relaxing spot for a family getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Took the family for a quick summer break getaway to Monterey and this house was a perfect setup for our group. We had space to spread out between the adults and kiddos while all still feeling comfortable. The welcome wine and cheese/crackers were a lovely touch, and we really appreciated the well-stocked kitchen since we did cook several meals during our stay. The house location is close to everything but also removed enough for a feeling of escape from the hubbub. On the downside, there was construction going on all over the neighborhood and since we were there during the week, it was constant- however, the house had good sound insulation from it all so other than the detours going on and out of the neighborhood it didn’t really bother us too much. We had a small issue with the Keurig being non-functional when we arrived, but there was another coffee maker we used instead and the property management replaced the defective one immediately upon notification, which was wonderful. They were really communicative and responsive so definitely 5 stars there! Our only other complaint would be that there is only one small towel rack in the bathroom and no hooks on doors, so with 6 people we had to be creative to hang our towels up after showering. Also the backyard potted sticks formerly known as plants were a sad sight, but of course had no significant bearing on our enjoyment of the space. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!
