I would never go near a hotel hot tub so it being out of commission seemed like a bonus to me, since it was outside our window. Room and location was great and they were accommodating to our two large dogs. We would stay here again.

Overall nice experience. The small things to improve, the bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed, grout or caulk on the tiles was crumbling, a lightbulb was out and the curtain was ripped. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and parking was safe, I liked the location for getting around Monterey.

Clammy, moist air in rooms, felt like floor was wet. This hotel needs air dehumidifiers STAT! Will not stay here again. When this close to the ocean you must do a better job removing humidity or stale or damp air, makes for a miserable stay.
