The hosts Raphael and Eyleen were extremely welcoming and friendly. Their home was spacious and so clean. They gave us information on places to go and were willing to help book for us. Walking distance to restaurants and town for shopping. Thank you for having us stay in your home!

The unit was very spacious and it was a great value for the price, especially for the location. It is well-stocked with amenities. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating. I think the weather was unusually cold when we were there and we were wishing for a space heater or warmer shower, but there were a lot of extra blankets. Very comfy beds. Overall, it was perfect for what we needed.

This place was such a great value. You just can't beat it. The ground floor apartment with 3 bedrooms was spacious and spotless. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals. Don't want to cook? That is OK because there is an amazing restaurant just up the road. The owners live upstairs and were very sweet and attentive. It was a great stay!

Host was amazing and helped us figure out the hot water in the shower. It wasn't that hard - we just needed a little lesson in the instant HW heating head on the shower! Location was ideal for our travel plans. Very clean with comfortable beds.

Hosts were amazing! The rental was spacious for our family of 4 and parking was great. Note: this is in the lower level of the house so air flow was limited during our visit—possibly weather-dependent.

Great stay in a very spacious and clean home. Kitchen is basic, cooking on a camp stove, heat your water for dishwashing. The home was more than enough for one person.Important to shut the bathroom door or else you will smell sewer all the time.

Nice place. You can walk easily and safely to Monteverde

To be honest this was the least expensive VRBO I have ever booked. My family was pleasantly surprised at how nice and family friendly the house was. The owner lives on the same lot and is very nice and helpful. Place was great.

Rafael and his wife were fantastic hosts. Their place is nestled in a quiet neighborhood. It’s a quick drive or 15 minute walk into the charming town of Santa Elena. The clean,comfortable 3 bedroom house has everything you need for a short or long term visit to the Monteverde.

Monteverde family trip

Rafael and family were great hosts they were very friendly. The property was about a 10 minute walk south of downtown Santa Elena in a quiet neighborhood. The property was exactly as listed. More than enough space for our family of four. Very clean. The fruit basket on arrival was a nice bonus. Definitely recommended.

Cute spot just outside Santa Elena w/ great view of MonteVerde

This was a nice 3 bedroom spot for 4 adults. The view out the side yard was spectacular with a view of MonteVerde. We didn’t cook so I can’t review that. The place was clean, off the main road w/ Netflix for entertainment. There was some confusion locating the place, hence my low score for check-in but it worked out. We met Raphael the owner later that day and he contacted his sister to get us a zip-line recommendation in La Fortuna. He was very friendly and extremely helpful.
