The checkin was superb. The hotel is beautiful with nice modern touches and decor. However, the walls are way too thin. The doors need to have a hydralic arm to control the slam, which is jarring. The washroom is very good and a novel idea of having a half glass door for the shower, which adds to the look and likely protects the bottom line. But a shower head pointing straight down would be much better option than a conventionally angled shower head that wets the floor; that being said, I would come back at a competitive rate and convenient location.

the dead bolt was broken switched rooms and the toilet did not work. Last night there was a fire alarm at 12:30 am Had to hang out in the lobby for an hour and finally went back to the room.

Spotless hotel. Very clean. Gym is one of the best I've been to at a hotel. Breakfast is expensive with very limited options. I found that parking instructions was not very clear when I arrived. I proceeded down to the garage just like the Hilton next door but with the Marriot you had to check in first to get the key. Wish this was a bit clearer. Not many walkable areas to amenities near by

There were no towels in the pool area, twice. And the emergency phone was missing so I could not contact the front desk to ask for towels. Had to walk back to the room and take the elevator soaking wet. Not appropriate. You would think that the towels would be restocked in the morning before the pool opened. Nope. Had to flag down two separate house keeping staff before I could get a towel. First staff member told me to wait a moment, left for 5 minutes and then came back to continue vacuuming without helping me. VERY concerned about the lack of telephone in the pool area. Surely that is not even legal. There was a convenient sign that said "pick up handset" but the handset was absent. What if someone was in distress? I don't take my personal phone to the pool usually but I guess I will from now on if staying at the Marriot. Embarrassing to have to walk through the hotel soaking wet.

L'acceuil fut fait froidement par le commis. Endroit très propre, a proximité de nombreux attraits touristiques. Mais un point que l'hotel ne controle pas, c'est les interminanle problème de circulation, qui est endémique à Montréal.
