Was upgraded to a suite on the top floor with a beautiful view. Thank you! Room was clean and housekeeping was prompt when needed. Just too bad there is no pool at the hotel. Location is great! - close to the metro and walking distance to Chinatown, Old Montreal, and shopping area on St. Catherines! Highly recommend!

Nice central location to explore all the main attractions of Montreal. Room was ok, however we had to ask for it to be cleaned better as there were hairs and bits of plastic over the carpeted area. Despite telling the hotel about 4 times that the ice machine on our floor did not work and them telling us they would look into it - it did not work through the whole week’s stay. Their suggestion was we go to another floor - not best response for customer service. In fact at one point we felt we were being asked what was wrong with it and questioned about its use. Nice to have a coffee machine and tea making facilities, two small coffee cups, but only one tea cup? Television control in the the room did not work for one of the TV’s when we arrived - this was fixed. However as both TV’s which are back to back in the studio suite room (one facing the bed, one facing the sofa) are the same make and model when you turned on one TV both came on. We were forever trying to turn one off or on when using them. The hotel needs to look at this annoying feature- we did feed this back. Overall a comfortable star with only a few niggles.

Beautifully designed hotel with decent amenities and a lovely rooftop terrace. Valet parking makes arriving and departing in a car a snap. I do find the hallways dark and sometimes difficult to spot your door lock but I guess that’s part of the cool vibe.

The hotel is ok, but communication is not their strongest point. We had some issues with EV charging: it costs $10, which was not mentioned in the description. Also, when we requested to charge the vehicle, they connected it, but the charger was broken, as we could see in the app. When we asked them to check why the vehicle was not charging, they first told us to wait for the valet. After 10 minutes of waiting, they said it was because the internet was not accessible in the garage and the app was wrong. But finally, they reparked the car and connected it to a working charger (so the internet was not an issue). Also, breakfast was not good, though maybe we were just unlucky with it.

Hotel Monville is conveniently located next to the RESO underground, the metro, bus station, and Old Montreal. The hotel was clean and inviting. The bed was very comfortable and it was a pleasant stay.
