Great spot to visit Black Canyon of the Gunnison

The tiny home was in a great spot and fit our needs! The location is pretty quiet and easy to get to. The host will not respond via the message center on the app. It took multiple phone calls before I could get ahold of someone. Communication about how to check in was confusing. We were checking in on a Sunday. One email said to check in at office, another said office closed on Sunday. One said we would get a code, another said we would get a key…I was honestly nervous that we might arrive Sunday and not be able to get in. Ultimately we arrived and found an envelope with our name taped to the office door. We would absolutely stay here again but communicate/process could be improved.

The place was really cute, this was a last-minute reservation so we were lucky to find something. My rating really would have been 3.5 stars. The negatives: it needs a really good deep clean, all of the horizontal windows don't open so at night we didn't have a lot of air flow, and it was missing some basics (sponges, dish towels, hand soap in the bathroom). The location is also in an RV park.
