Very nice and clean

This hotel exceeded our expectations for a quick weekend away. It is pet friendly, but be aware that there is an additional $50 pet fee that is not included in the booking price online, even if you reserve a pet friendly room.

The staff was very nice. Ended up staying another night and they where more then happy too give us the room for another night! The room was clean and the breakfast was good! Freshly made pancakes and eggs, and a few other options!

Not a great stay, but the only one in town

The rooms were only half cleaned on the days we stayed. Like one be was made, but not the other. There were no fresh towels. The light and plug switches were stained and didn't look clean

The staff was friendly and welcoming. Over our 3-day stay, they greeted us in the hallway mutliple times, asking if there was anything we needed. Great bonus was the chocolate chip cookies once or twice a day!

My advice is to “Stay Wise” and DO NOT STAY HERE! I have stayed in thousands of hotels around the world as my job requires a lot of travel. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. There was blood on the walls, food stains on the floor, and the beds were ancient and made so much noise that even turning over woke up anyone else in the room. The sheets and towels were tattered. The air conditioner/heater made a variety of strange noises—also making sleep very difficult. The tub made all kinds of cracking and creaking noises as if you were about to fall through the floor—and we later found out from some local friends that the hotel had some serious water damage a few years ago, which apparently wasn’t fixed completely. The wood below the shower must have been rotted out. I have no idea how this hotel has received so many rave reviews. See my Google review for more information about our stay. I cannot recommend this hotel at all. In fact, I would warn anyone thinking of reserving a room here to seriously think about going to a better hotel in Montrose or Grand Junction. Trust me, you will sleep way better elsewhere.
