This was the first time staying at this resort but we have stayed a number of times at other resorts in Mooloolaba. The mantra has great facilities and is very central however we did find the rooms were tired and some things were broken and needed fixing. Our room was a one bedroom superior ocean view supposedly renovated although I doubt that. The room was also quite noisy with other guests banging doors and the main door to unit opening right onto the bedroom. However even with these negatives I believe we would stay again but requesting a different room, as we enjoyed the pool facilities.

Loved how close everything's is, all we had to do was unpack and relax.Coles is next door, dining option downstairs, hotel was on main strip do plenty of dining options along main strip, beach across road, indoor and outdoor pools... whats not to love

I have stayed at the Mantra for many years from when it opened for family holidays, weekends away, single night work trips and even staged a conference at the property one year. It's a great location however it is starting to feel a little tired. I was in a 1st floor apartment this visit and it was fine, however there was a bad smell of stale smoke. I don't know if it was a previous guest or if smoke just drifts in from other rooms/floors (I usually have the balcony door open). I will probably stay there again however the ocean view rooms are pushing up price wise. Watch the late check out fees as there's not as much flexibility here as there used to be.

Not what we booked and paid for on 28th April, staying from May 14th to 17th inclusive. We left on the 16th because the road noise and studio size of the bedroom/unit was so uncomfortable and not what we had stayed in before when booking Ocean view Superior. When home we checked the website and the definition of what we had paid for had changed! We got caught up in the change over on the site but we should have been given what we booked. Very disappointing !!

Have stayed previously and returned because we like the motel and the location. Unfortunately, our room was near a lift and the continued ding of the lift especially from early morning was rather loud and disturbing. Perhaps the ding of the lift does not need to be on after all we are standing there waiting for it or the person getting out knows their exit. Also heard housekeeping knocking on door from what seemed like 7.30am and I think our room had a housekeeping storage room very close by also causing noise.

I was disappointed that the ocean front room we had requested and paid for, was only a glimpse between Mantra and Oceans. What do we have to ask for in order to have an ocean front room on the front of the building? However, I was really happy with the 80th birthday greetings and bottle of wine provided for our stay.
