Guest Access:
Guests are welcome to enjoy the full range of our facilities, including the tranquility of our lush garden, the relaxation of our sandy beach, the comfort of our hot tub, and the convenience of our barbecue area for delightful outdoor grilling.
The Neighborhood:
Immerse yourself in the untamed beauty of this island's wild side. Yet, a short distance away, you will find a range of shops, boutiques, restaurants, the former Club Med beach, and the Tiki Villageâan enchanting cultural hub offering traditional meals and captivating Tahitian dance performances. Renowned among surfers, the internationally acclaimed wave at Haapiti pass awaits. Across the property, you will find a well-stocked grocery store and a food truck serving delectable pizzas.
Getting Around:
There are several ways to tour around the island. The most convenient option is to rent a car or a scooter. There are several rental options at the airport or near the ferry terminal. No worries, as we have onsite parking for your rented vehicle(s).
Also, the AREMITI ferry bus that is bounded to south, conveniently makes a stop right at the property's gate entrance. However, reliability and schedule may vary.
Other Things to Note:
Kindly refrain from wearing shoes inside the bungalow. Also, five affectionate island dogs are on the premises to provide nighttime security.
As our establishment is surrounded by nature, encountering wildlife on the property is normal. To preserve harmony between humans and local fauna, we kindly ask that you do not feed the animals.
Roosters and chickens are a natural part of our environment, reflecting the authenticity of our lifestyle. While we understand they may surprise some visitors, their presence supports local biodiversity.
The lizard is a sacred symbol of Moorea, representing protection and prosperity. In fact, âMooreaâ means âyellow lizardâ in Tahitian. We encourage you to observe them with respect, as they hold deep cultural significance.
Being near the forest, occasional encounters with insects, including cockroaches, are inevitable despite our regular pest control efforts.
They are part of the natural ecosystem.
We appreciate your understanding and are happy to assist if needed.
Interaction with Guests:
We live onsite, and we are at your disposal to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We happily share our evenings with guests eager to chat on our terrace. However, we also fully respect the privacy of our guests and remain discreet for those seeking tranquility.
Property is beautifully located. Highway beside it could sometimes be noisy. Kathy our host was gracious and helpful. Communications were very good. Overall I would recommend it for a stay.
The pros: very nice staff, breakfast served daily with good food (we loved the bread and fresh fruits), kitchen well equipped to cook daily. Sunsets are incredible. They have a washer on site. They have A LOT of snorkeling gear available, even full face masks which are great for kids to snorkel (we did not snorkel on site though, but went Temea beach). They have kayaks. The cons: We got charged extra to check in late in the day which was a first for us. Only one AC unit in the living area so we had to sleep with bedroom door open but even with it did not feel like a fully ACed bedroom. The kids slept well in the living room but we, adults, slept terribly because of the surrounding noises. The place is right by the main road and rosters start their concert daily at 4am. The design of the hut is such that there is an opening between the walls and the roof all around so you hear the exterior noises as if you were outside really (and AC is wasted greatly because of this flawed design). They have an unexpected policy to provide beach towels but only for on-site use so we had to buy 2 towels to go to public beaches. We left early because of the noise issues mentioned above.
