Disappointing stay despite a beautiful location:
Nadia was pleasant at first, and the apartment is in a lovely, peaceful area just about two minutes from Lake Lugano. Morcote itself is beautiful, relaxing, and well located.
However, I would not recommend this apartment for a group of four, families with children, guests with heavy luggage, people with reduced mobility, or anyone staying during very hot weather.
In my view, it is better suited to one young couple who do not mind limited comfort and no proper air conditioning.
The apartment did not feel suitable for four people. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and caused us significant back pain. The mattresses were also uncomfortable. Each guest had only one very small, light pillow, one light cover rather than a proper blanket, and only one large towel for a four-night stay. I had informed the host in advance that we would be staying for four nights and asked for additional towels, but I did not receive a response. One of the covers also had a very unpleasant, dirty smell and the host promise to send the cleaning company next day but she didnt.
The air-conditioning unit was extremely small for the whole apartment, especially with outdoor temperatures around [37^\circ\mathrm{C}]. There was also constant noise from the water system, which affected our rest.
Access can be difficult with luggage. The host provided two routes to reach the property. I strongly recommend choosing option 2. Option 1 involves rough streets th
