The Dancing Bears cabin was clean, except for a few dishes, and very comfortable and cozy. The beds and linens were really nice for a rental property and the showers had plenty of hot water. My only real negative would be the advertised views. The pictures on the posting are obviously very old as the property has a lot of mature trees now and there is no view from the decks anymore. The proximity to Copperhill and Mcaysville is nice as they are a great way to spend a relaxing day of shopping, eating, and drinking.

Peace and Quiet

**Ideal Cabin for a Woodsy Adventure** This cabin is situated in a convenient location, close to town for grocery shopping and dining. The surrounding area offers hiking trails within a short distance (approximately 20 minutes). The neighborhood is also walkable, providing an excellent opportunity for a workout. The property features a steep driveway, which may pose a challenge for vehicles with low ground clearance. Our 2024 Honda Civic struggled with the driveway steepness. Basically we had to get a running start by driving down the street and going fast up the driveway. The streets and driveway are well-maintained, free from dirt or rocks! The cabin is equipped with a fully functional kitchen, suitable for baking and cooking. The dryer operates efficiently. The layout of the home is spacious and comfortable, with a hot tub and a master bedroom has comfortable pillows and a super cozy bed. That’s rare! While we encountered some minor issues during our stay, we were promptly assisted by the property management. I suggested better cleaning based on our rental experiences. We recommend bringing the following items for your stay: - Coffee grinds: regular and Keurig pot Available (they do provide filters) - Extra paper towels - Trash bags - Laundry supplies - Darts for the dartboard - Spices and cooking oil - Condiments

Wonderful getaway in the mountains

This wonderful mountain getaway boasts high ceilings, a fantastic loft bedroom and an excellent entertainment basement. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Dancing in the dark

Property was clean. Beds were comfortable. Parking was nice and flat. Several of the lamps did not work. Downstairs bedroom had no overhead light; one of the two lamps worked. We used a flashlight to find items in the closet. Beautiful wood floors creaked very loudly - actually became comical walking on the stairs! Old style TV was not great for watching football. Porch furniture was in ill repair. Overall, we enjoyed the weekend.
