The property itself was wonderful. We stayed in one of the superior rooms with its own private hot spring bath. The staff were wonderful as well and everything about the hotel was great. What we found though is there really isn’t much to do around the area and not many restaurants that aren’t at the mall. So if you stay here, plan your day to just hang out at the hotel and eat at the hotel. There is a lot to do from the planetarium to renting bikes, to playing tennis and chilling in the baths.

Nice sports facilities, but not friendly to tourists with tattoos. Was extremely limited to activities on property. Outside of fine dining the closest dining option was at the mall which was a 20 minute walk away.

I loved loved my room was perfect Had a great sleep. Amazing view. Staff were polite and great. Only issue was my son and his friend are cycleing on this trip. They brought their bikes inside to a designated location per staff but someone got in theire and stole some of their tools and lowered the seats etc Was to be a secure spot so that was disappointing. Reported the next morning.

The hotel facilities are excellent, and staff are very friendly and polite. One thing inconvenient is the narrow parking slot, it was difficult to open the car door fully for offloading my bags from the rear sheet.

Peaceful retreat

The hotel and room itself (king lakeview) was extremely clean and spacious. Atmosphere was peaceful and view of the lake waa pretty. The immediate area around the hotel has NOTHING so be prepared to eat in at the hotel or at Pieri Moriyama, a shopping centre about 5 mins drive away.

Staffs very good with warm welcome. Even my room is not lake side, view still very good no matter day or night. The unexpected warm welcome for me is hot tea in lobby during snowing days.
