'Les Lauriers' is a detached, modern villa with views over fields and vineyards, situated in the charming village of Mortagne sur Gironde overlooking the Gironde estuary in the Charente Maritime area of sunny, south-west France. Mortagne sur Gironde is easily accessible from the airports of La Rochelle and Bordeaux, or is an easy drive down from the port of St Malo. The village is well served with a variety of small shops (including post office and chemist) and a well-stocked Co-op. It is only a short stroll into the village for baguettes and croissants for breakfast! The nearest supermarket is ‘Super U’, about a 15 min drive away in Gemozac. Down by the pretty fishing port are a variety of restaurants and cafés. Tennis, fishing and horse riding are all available locally and it is a 20 min drive to golf courses.

A lovely and relaxing holiday.
We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Mortagne with the very favourable weather meaning we made the most of the pool. We brought a gazeebo with us for extra shade, which we would recommend other guests do likewise. Lynn and William were very helpful at all stages in the booking process and ensured there was a speedy response to any problems we reported. I am sure we will return soon. Thank you. Une expérience et un séjour inoubliables (du 16 au 23 juillet 2022). Tout s'est bien passé du début jusqu'à la fin. La communication avec les propriétaires était facile, rapide et agréable. La maison est située dans un endroit très calme et paisible, le dépaysement est garanti. La maison elle-même est très bien entretenue, propre, bien agencée et très bien équipée. Chaque petit détail est pensé et prévu pour le confort des clients. Un grand merci à Jean-Pierre qui était toujours là à s'occuper de la maison, à nous aider et à nous donner des bons conseils au bon moment. Je recommande vivement!

Séjour au calme et reposant.
Nous avons passez un agréable séjour au calme. Très grand jardin et une belle piscine chauffée qui est bien entretenue par Jean-Pierre qui nous a très bien accueilli et d’une grande gentillesse. Des torchons, tapis de bain et serviettes pour les mains dans les salles de bain supplémentaires auraient été les bienvenues. Sinon maison bien agréable et bien agencée.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour d'une semaine en famille dans cette superbe maison avec piscine d'une taille idéal pour jouer et faire des longueurs. Nous avons profité du jardin et fait beaucoup d'activités. Parfait pour une semaine de repos au calme en campagne. Merci aux propriétaires.
