French Toast Flat
Welcome to our French Toast Flat located in quaint Moscow, Idaho. This adorable, fully remodeled studio suite was once a motel built in 1930 & in 1968 was moved to its current location. Unit was completely taken down to the studs & rebuilt. Nearly every element brand new - sheetrock, flooring, kitchen, lighting, bathroom, windows, doors, & more. Full kitchen has stove, microwave, Keurig, refrigerator, & stocked with essentials. Queen bed is high end. Just few blocks to downtown & U of Idaho. We host a total of 3 units in Moscow. For the other units see booking #2331993 & booking #2663158
Good location. Cute finish. Very clean. Professional engineering observation = Exterior does not meet code for minimum foundation height, nor drainage slopes; expect flooding on top of the water in the crawl space.
The place is very clean. The linen, appliances, etc are top quality. We were there to help our son move into college, we didn't need much space but wanted something comfortable. This suited our needs perfectly. The owner was accommodating in letting our son stay one night as he moved onto campus the following morning, by supplying a rolling bed and sheets/comfortable. I would definitely recommend it again as long as you don't want to eat huge meals there. They have a stove, refrigerator, and microwave (full kitchen) but no kitchen table. They provide little TV trays to use with the couch, which was perfect for our needs. I would highly recommend staying again to a couple or single person!!
The interior was quaint, clean and fresh. Property is located in a rather rundown area, which made us nervous. The space was very tiny (200 square feet?). Areas to improve: eliminate all the chemically-scented plug-ins which made it difficult to breathe, especially at night; Add a suitcase stand or dresser to unpack clothes because there wasn't a place to put both of them and have a place to sit for a week; Move fridge to its designated spot on other side of kitchen and add a 2 person dining table, and switch fridge door opening side using some basic tools; Add ceramic dishes because wood and melamine cannot be used in the microwave to heat leftovers from local restaurants; Add a towel/robe hook at shower door opening rather than way behind it.
Again, it was cutely decorated and very clean, just considerably smaller than expected (smaller than a hotel room) and the spatial constraints need some improvement. .
This was a very nice and cozy tiny house in a central location in Moscow. The location was has it's own shared parking area right in front of the home, and all amenities were clean and worked as they should. My only quibble was the location was a little crampt for the amount of time we were staying, however if you only plan on staying for a couple of days, this is a hard location to beat.
Wonderful communication from the host as well!
The room was cute and set up well. Very small, but manageable. No control for ceiling fan other than on or off. Neighbors were arguing in the middle of the night, so a little tough to sleep, but overall very nice.
This was a great rental experience. The unit was easy to get to, close to the heart of downtown, quiet, and clean. Plus so many nice touches: coffee, waters in the fridge, toiletries. Best one we have stayed in!
The French Toast Flat was exactly as posted. Perfect for two people. The location was ideal!!! We were there for our daughter's WSU graduation, and it was only a 15 min drive. I would stay here again!
