Green Monkey is a bright and spacious two bedroom apartment set within Beacon Hill, a small gated development at Mullins on the famous west coast of Barbados.

Our apartment has wonderful sea views from the large terrace and affords easy access to Mullins Beach through the private coded gate.

Just a few steps through the tropical gardens you'll find the shared pool and jacuzzi. The pool is shared with 5 apartments and is seldom busy! Spend your days on the sun loungers provided and take shade under the gazebo for a cooling drink.

Green Monkey has 2 reserved car parking spaces should you wish to hire a car.

Our Property Manager, Ann, will meet you at the property on arrival and show you around. She will also be on hand for the duration of your stay should you need her. We also have a Housekeeper, Dionne, who will come in 3 times a week to keep everything clean and tidy.

We can also arrange transfers from the airport, restaurant bookings and suggestions of places to explore on the island.

We absolutely love Green Monkey!

We had an amazing stay at Green Monkey. We have not experienced a more perfect place. Tastefully furnished. Everything anyone could possible need is provided. Perfect condition and perfect location. Ann is a great property manager. Dionne is the best housekeeper we have ever had in all of our extensive travels. You couldn't fine a better, more responsible owner than Kerry. Can't wait to return!

Great Location

The townhome was lovely and clean with great beach access. The deck off the living room is well appointed and an awesome spot for your morning coffee. Mullins is a wonderful area with great access to the beach and a range of bar and restaurants nearby.

Beyond Paradise

From our first contact with Kerry the owner,we couldn't have been helped more. She has a lovely manager,Ann who met us when we arrived and showed us around and offered lots of tips. Dionne the housekeeper kept the house clean and tidy. What else could you ask for....a great rental property? Well Green Monkey is so much more. It is in a fabulous location,monkeys running around the car park early in the mornings, fabulous views of the beach which is just across the road and more of a home than a rental. It is more than well equipped . .Add in the fact that Barbados and its people are so beautiful and you have a holiday of a lifetime.

Excellent stay at Beacon Hill

We both enjoyed our stay at Beacon hill. We have stayed in this complex before in a different apartment so know the area well. The apartment was lovely and clean with beautiful views over Mullins beach.. The only downside I would give is the noise from the road but this certainly wouldn’t stop us from staying here again

Beautiful apartment in a superb location

Green Monkey is spacious, comfortable, beautifully presented and very well equipped. The apartment is bright, airy and sparkling clean; it is kept that way by the lovely maid who attends three times per week. The beds are super comfortable and there is plenty of storage in the bedrooms. The bathrooms and showers are great and equipped with lots of towels for showering and for the beach. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, there is everything you need to self cater if required. It really is a home away from home from an equipment point of view. The view from the terrace and master bedroom is stunning, having breakfast and evening drinks on the terrace was a joy. Having a beach just a few steps away across the road is wonderful; even though Mullins beach bar is now privately owned there are plenty of other beach beds for hire. There are jet skis, glass bottom boat rides and other fun inflateables on the beach; however swimmers are protected by a marked bathing area. The garage next door has essential groceries with larger supermarkets a short bus ride away. Communication with the owner was excellent with questions answered promptly. You cannot help but have a great holiday at Green Monkey and I know we will come back again.

Simply stunning holiday at Green Monkey. Highly recommend. A Real HomeAway!

Right from the beginning we felt we were going to have the most wonderful holiday. Kerry Driscoll the owner is so organised,extremely helpful and inspires great confidence. We were all set up with every detail to make our stay stressfree weeks before we went. She is also very personable and promptly answers any questions that you may have. Transport from the Airport can be arranged and Ann the House Manager is there to greet you on arrival and show you around the apartment. Speaking of Ann,she is a fine example of a House Manager. Always on call,deals with any problems you may have and obviously very knowledgeable about the area.So friendly too and we very much enjoyed our chats with her. Dionne the Housekeeper is also amazing. We very quickly got to see her as a friend and looked forward to her visits.She cleans the apartment 3 times a week so everything is always pristine. The apartment is perfect. Has everything you need to self cater and more. Beds are comfortable and we particularly liked the fact that there is a bath and a shower. The furnishings are very apt and appropriate and the whole house is in a very good state of decor. It is bright and light and worth a particular mention, is the fabulous view of the sea from the terrace and the Master bedroom. The pool area is also very pleasant and never busy. That,along with the actual apartment buildings and the lovely gardens are kept to a very high standard. You do get some traffic noise from the road below but one gets used to this and we would not swap that for the view of the beach and sea. It is possible to use the local buses for shopping and eating out. There are a couple of places to eat within walking distance too. Also, a shop attached to the garage close by to get any essentials. In Holetown,about 10 mins away there is great Supermarket which opened last year.Called Massy's Stores.There are also fruit,veg and fish markets in Speightstown,again about 10 mins away. Mullins Beach is perfectly situated on the island as is Green Monkey. There are electric security gates and two parking spaces for the property. The people everywhere were always friendly,helpful and courteous which does makes a difference. Service is good and always with a smile. We had two weeks here and arrived home on the 10th December. Would have loved to have stayed longer as we felt it was like living at home. We are very much looking forward to our next visit. By the way, we did see the green monkeys!!

The property was comfortable, really well equipped with everything we could possibly need and well positioned to access Speighstown and Holetown easily. The maid service was wonderful - Dionne is a real treasure. Only one criticism (and I hate to do this because the property was perfect for us otherwise) - at certain times of the day, traffic noise from the main road below made conversation on the balcony almost impossible.

Beautifully appointed self catering apartment in to-die-for location

A fantastic family holiday with our late teen boys. The apartment is spotlessly clean and less than 2 minutes from the beach - literally down the stairs and across the road! Kerry has ensured that you have everything you need for a great stay. Ann provides a warm welcome and Dionne, the 3 times a week housekeeper, is a lovely person who does a brilliant job. The apartment is well positioned to explore the island. We had a car but equally loved riding the yellow ‘reggae reggae’ buses. Plenty of nearby restaurants in Holetown and Speightstown as well as supermarkets and other shops. Kerry provides great communication from booking to departing and we can’t recommend her place highly enough👌

Everything is great about this property

Arranged over two floors with great sea views of Mullins beach a very comfortable nicely furnished, holiday home 2 bedrooms both en suite, the kitchen has every thing you could possibly want. We stayed from 19th April 2018 to 05th May 2018 and had a great holiday. I don't normally do reviews but this is worth a look, you wont be let down, if you are sorry. We had a great time short bus ride to Holetown and Speightstown so good restaurants close by but not on top of you. Due to Mullins beach bar being closed for renovation some days we were the only people on the beach I would imagine that the bar may make some difference but can only report it as we found it. If you want to see the green monkeys get up early they were normally most active between 0600 to 0630 on the complex we saw them about 5 times in the two weeks Dionne the housemaid is great keeps the place spotlessly clean and is a very charming lady. Kerry the owner has got it just right and was very helpful in the planning of our holiday thanks for a great holiday.

Great apartment, could not be closer to Mullins Beach. A little noisy !

We enjoyed staying at the apartment. Easy to find, an excellent location for beach lovers. The apartment itself was very clean and light and everything worked well. It is very straightforward to cross the road and to be on the beach. The only drawback is that it is adjacent to the west coast road and this means there is quite a lot of traffic noise. The worst noise offenders are the yellow buses ! So if it is peace and quiet that you are seeking this may not be the right place for you. For us, though it was great.
