Escape to this welcoming house on over 6 acres in picturesque Murphy. This completely remodeled property features 2 bedrooms, including 1 king bed and 2 full beds and 2 bathrooms, including a jetted bathtub and shower all in the main house. Relax in the cozy living room with an additional sofa bed for extra sleeping space. There is a pool table/ping pong table in the upstairs living room for some family fun. The kitchen is stocked so cooking at this property is a dream. Upstairs and downstairs feature decks the full length of the home so you can take in the breathtaking views. Home is bordered by USFS so walking trails are right out your front door. The lake is across the street for easy access and kayaks /paddleboards are provided for your enjoyment.
You can also rent the extra apartment above the garage for an extra $100.00 a night. It features 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with full kitchen, laundry, and living space. The garage is not currently accessible to renters.
You will have complete privacy on this property. There is partial fencing and temporary fencing provided.
Enjoy your time in Murphy or make the short drive to Blue Ridge or Telico Plains. There is white water rafting, boating, the casino, orchid, and so much more in this area. This property has so much to offer!

This home is wonderful! We enjoyed our stay very much. We walked down the trail behind the house everyday with the kids! The kids used tree branches to make a teepee down the trail. It was so nice to just be in the mountains away from busy life. We even got a little snow shower, didn’t last long but it was beautiful. The home was remodeled very nicely and everything was nice and clean! The washer and dryer were great to be able to wash while we stayed.

We stayed at this property over Thanksgiving week and had a wonderful experience. The home has clearly been newly renovate; everything felt fresh, clean, and thoughtfully updated. We were the first guests to stay here, and it truly felt like a special treat.The location is peaceful, private, and incredibly quiet, which made it easy to relax and unwind. The view is absolutely beautiful and was one of our favorite parts of the stay—we enjoyed starting and ending each day just taking it in.The hosts put a lot of care into the space, and it shows. The house was comfortable, well-equipped, and exactly what we needed for a restful holiday week. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a serene getaway.
