I would have liked to give it a higher rating. Unfortunately, my travel partners had $450 euro stolen from their room on day 2-which put a damper on the experience. The manager said that she reviewed the cameras and nobody entered the room from the hallway. There was a low, accessible balcony, and we didn’t hear anything about the camera that would have recorded that area. Either way-it was there, and then a few hours later it was gone. The rest: the location and view of this hotel are very good, and the pool area and breakfast is lovely. Walkable, but far enough away from the town so to enjoy some peace and quiet. The rooms were very large, but somewhat dated. They had some very accommodating staff.

Sent this to them with NO RESPONSE: To Whom It may Concern: I am very disappointed to find this credit was not in the amount as the charge. I was told you did not accept American Express so I gave you my VISA. Then you let my daughter use her AMEX and I asked to use mine, so you did a credit. Then I see the credit was less than the actual charge, which was processed 15 minutes later TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!! On top of that you did not give me any type of credit for moving to a lesser of room because you advertise as a Suite but it is just one big room with a pool. So I move to a real suite because you said you would charge me 20% a day more to have my 7 granddaughter stay there. Which she spent 1 night!! I had friends and family also staying at your hotel during this period because I booked there, so you gained additional revenue. Please issue my American Express a minimum of $1000 to make up the difference on this VISA credit and going to a lesser room type because of false advertising on room, saying it was a Suite but nothing more than a big room. If not, I will put a complaint to VISA, American Express, Travelocity, and write weekly on the reviews to NOT book with you because of shady business practices
