Lovely Get-Away

I vacationed with my husband, two adult sons, daughter- in-law and 2 grandkids. The home was spotless (TRULY), spacious and in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. We walked to the beach every morning - it was a quick and lovely stroll. Town was close by and inviting. The host was extraordinary, before, during and at the end of our stay. The home was well decorated and well stocked. I would gladly stay here again!

We loved our stay at this lovely, spacious, clean home near the beach. The house is perfectly organized for family gatherings—our teens hung out in the upstairs TV room and adults could catch up in the screened in porch or inviting deck. Very comfortable beds and cool welcoming rooms were perfect refuges after busy days in the sun and sand. Liz has thoughtfully considered every vacationer’s need—even coffee for that first morning. And her suggestion to get food delivered rather than shop on arrival was something I’d never thought of before and it gave us back our first vacation day. Highly recommend.

My friends and I have had a girls weekend at this home twice now. Walking distance to downtown Niantic and close to the beach. The house was perfect for the 4 of us and everything was very clean. The owner, Liz, was super easy to reach.

Beautiful, quiet home near the beach

I couldn't have asked for a more responsive host than Liz, who is a marvelous and friendly communicator. The beach, as promised, is a only a brief walk away, and the house is not only beautiful but extremely comfortable, and filled with lots of "extras" to make the stay even more enjoyable.

Fantastic cottage close to the water

This was a fantastic spot! The owner was extremely attentive and the house was well stocked with everything we needed. It was super comfortable. The location is awesome - close to the beach, easy walks around the neighborhood. We really appreciated everything about it!

Absolutely loved the house - the layout is perfect for getting together and catching up with family. There's plenty of space, the back yard is super peaceful and the beach is just a couple blocks away.

Great Weekend

We had a great time. The house was adorable and well kept. It's in a great location--close to the town of Niantic and local beaches and only a 20 minute drive to Mystic. We really appreciated the fact that we could text any questions we had directly to the owner and she responded quickly. We did think it would be helpful to have a printout of the house information that was sent earlier via email, as an easy reference and also so we wouldn't have to bother the owner with texts. But, again, the fact that the owner was easily reached was above and beyond what we expected. Side note: we brought a dog with us for the weekend, and took her on our excursions, when we could, but be aware that the beaches are only dog friendly from September to May (we were there the very last day of dogs being allowed).

Great Get-away

The owner was wonderful; very communicative, helpful and pleasant. The house was clean and comfortable. It provided all we needed for our family of 6. The beds were super comfortable! The town offers so much to do and our kids loved the beaches.

Winter retreat

Our family thoroughly enjoyed spending time here. The house offered us enough space to spread out for the adults to work and the kids to do schoolwork. Liz was an amazing host! Always available to answer questions. She couldn't be more accomodating. We had two small dogs with us who loved exploring the neighborhood with us. The restaurants we ordered from in the area were terrific and we did plenty of cooking in Liz's wonderful kitchen. We had everything we needed from pots and pans to countertop space. We hope to stay again when it is warmer and we can enjoy time on the beach!

Fabulous girls weekend

Liz's house was perfect for 6 of us to meet for a girls weekend. There was ample space for us all to spread out and we enjoyed the short walking distance to the beach and the downtown area. Great dining and shopping opportunities! Liz was extremely communicative prior to our arrival, providing us with lots of helpful recommendations. We stayed in the fall season but I can imagine that summer would be wonderful due to its' close proximity to the beaches. We all agree that we would love to book again in the future!

The perfect weekend getaway!

This was the perfect place to stay for a weekend getaway with friends. The house was in close proximity to the beach which we enjoyed walking to during our stay. There was also an excellent breakfast place about a mile away that was in walking distance. Liz was very attentive and checked in on us via text numerous times during our stay to see if we needed anything. She also provided us with a long list of nearby attractions and restaurants prior to our arrival which helped us plan our weekend. The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed our stay so much we are looking to come back in a few weeks and then again for a longer trip next summer. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality Liz! You won't be disappointed if you book this home!
