Staff was having problem with computers, was wondering if we could get in a room. Solved that problem, got a second story room, which often goes with 3rd party vendors. Would have preferred first floor as we are getting along in years.

I was a bit nervous when I got there because the front doors were facing the street, but the room was clean and cozy. The last person on call was super friendly and made sure I was safe in my room. The area is a bit older, but the room was well-maintained.

Very Disappointing

We have stayed here many times and generally have had positive stays. This stay was unacceptable. The room had a very pungent foul smell to it (soured, wet dog smell) They were unable to change our room due to being fully booked. Had it not been so late we would have gone to another hotel. The a/c unit was hit and miss on cooling. It would work for about 30 minutes at a time. It never reached the temperature we wanted. The room next door had a get together out front of our door sitting directly infront of our window in yard chairs. They were smoking and drinking late into the night. We called the office and they did stop for about 20 minutes, but then started back up. The rooms are supposed to be non smoking but you could definitely tell the room had been smoked in. The staff is always helpful and friendly but thr rest of our stay was disappointing.
