This was a gem for our ski trip. Before checkin the staff was very helpful with transportation suggestions and questions. Because the road to the hotel is not drivable in the winter you call the hotel from the parking/bus area and they come and pick you up via snowmobile, this in itself was a fun experience for my son.
The room was quite, clean, and had the right amenities. The food was Japanese but very good and staff ensures dietary restrictions are met.
We were here for a couple of days and had a wonderful stay! The place is kept clean, and it sits right by the ski hill. Nothing beats a soak in the hot public bath after a day of skiing. Also loved the breakfast and dinner! The gem though was the staff, who were incredibly friendly and went out of the way to help us.

Lovely old style hotel, kept in good and clean conditions. The staff were amazing. Our stay would’ve been perfect if not for the fact that there wasn’t a private shower or bath in the room. It was stated that there is a private toilet, and that what it was only a toilet and a washing bassinet.
The BEST ski in ski out we have ever stayed in! It was so convenient to get out the door and step onto the slope and ski down into the ski room at night. No need to hike up to a lift or haul kids around to get to places. The family the owns the hotel is so wonderful and kind. The room was comfortable and the onsen felt great after skiing. The highlight of the trip was the amazing dinners each night at the lodge! They were so delicious and we tried lots of new foods and loved the experience. The hotel also has a kids area which made our stay stress free too as the kids could go and play while we finished eating. We hope to return again and wish we could have stayed longer!
