Very comfortably furnished and well-equipped (especially the kitchen), kept in great shape by part-time local owner, the Cooley Cottage offers a quiet yet very convenient location. There is just a short walk to a beach access with a lifeguard stand. Virtually no traffic on this cul-de-sac, yet right in the heart of Nags Head activities, whether it be swimming at the beach or sound, shopping, or a variety of outdoor family activities. Plus it’s pet friendly! Grab those boogie boards and take a short walk to the beach where your family and your pooch can enjoy the Atlantic Ocean at its best.
Restaurants, Nags Head Fishing Pier, coffee shops, shopping, and a variety of family amusements are all a short walk away from the quiet yet convenient location of this cottage. My spouses family comes to OBX every year and has been for 50 years now, this is only my second year but it was allot of fun. We met the owner as well and she was very sweet and helpfull. We truley hope we can schedual next years visit here as well.

Wonderful Cottage

This was great for a family with kids! It is an easy walk to the beach with access that allows for a wagon. There is also a close playground that has a farmers market on Thursdays. It is an easy drive to activities and restaurants too. It was exactly what we were looking for.

Perfect

We were incredibly impressed with this property. It was very very clean and was just beautiful with up to date furnishings, kitchen, and bathrooms. There was a lot of useable outdoor spaces that were equally as nice. So comfortable! The walk to the beach access was short and there were plenty of great shops, restaurants, gas stations, and grocery stores very close by. We will definitely stay here again!

“Our” OBX beach house

We have been coming to CCC for over 20 years - love the house updates thru the years and the convenient location to many of our favorite places in OBX. This is the only place we have stayed and already looking forward to our next trip!

Short but sweet vacation

Clean and cozy cottage is in a quiet cul-de-sac. This place had everything we needed for a low-key vacation. Grocery store, and kids' activities were all close by. The beach was about a 3-4 block walk which could be tricky if you have a lot of gear, but there was a nice big parking lot we would drive to every morning. There is also a lifeguard station with clean bathrooms next to the parking lot, so you didn't have to run back to the house. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Comfy and very-well located

Was very good. Plenty is space, particularly liked having an outdoors sitting area under the deck. A few extra basics to help with the on arrival would have been helpful, dish soap and a few coffee filters. In other places I have stayed charcoal for the BBQ is usually provided. We had a wonderful week and would definitely want to stay again!

Love this cottage!

We always love our stay at CCC. So close to the beach, walking distance to Dowdy Park, Tortugas Lie, and Morning View, and on a quiet cul-de-sac... you can't ask for a better location. Amenities are great with two full bathrooms and an outdoor shower, plus a great kitchen if you decide to cook in. And we will return later in the year with our pup!

We love staying at CCC! Some highlights? The size of the cottage is perfect for a family, the kitchen is updated and well appointed, the beds are very comfortable, and the outdoor shower is great! Best of all is the location
