Everything was amazing! The host replied, timely, to all my inquiries - even when we requested a late check-out the day before our departure. The house couldn't have been more perfect for our family. So much room and the bottom level with the pool table and arcade game was a hit!
Overall we were very happy with this house, but we didn't like the lack of good window coverings throughout. It was too light in most bedrooms when trying to sleep at night.
The property was beautiful and every bedroom was immaculate and very comfortable. The layout of the home met our needs 100%. We really enjoyed the pool and the hot tub, and the younger kids loved the pool table. The location to the beach was excellent, and even though we had riptide warnings the whole week, we still enjoyed the pier, several good walks and sunrise coffee on the kitchen floor balcony! I highly recommend this property if youâre looking for a home to accommodate a large group.
Our stay at the Ferrari II, was great, and enjoyed by all! The appointment of the rooms with all the linen and towels was perfect, we even had a few extras to use for the hot tube. Yes the hot tube was the star this trip and it was the best relaxation. The pool looked ready but the water temps were too low. We all spent time in the game room with the arcade and pool table. What I was most impressed by was the kitchen and the all the equipment, utensils and all things for the grill. Me being a Chef, I did bring my knifes, a few other items and pizza stone as we made pizzas the first night. The kitchen was impressive in size and capability and is truly stocked. Next time just my knifes and pizza stone only. The convenience to stores located in the mall was waling distance. We did not find the immediate beach access, but we did ride down to the pier for the beach and that too was fantastic! We bought some kites and the wind and weather was perfect! All the decks that provided sunshine in the morning and night was enjoyable for coffee and beverages during the day. I can see us doing this again, it was a first for all and good time was had by all, thanks so much!!!
The location was great, and fit our large family wonderfully. The large kitchen table and game room was so nice to have! However, the sheets are not on the beds when you arrive. They are stacked on the bed. They also only provide 2 rolls of toilet paper for the whole house. The gate latch to the pool was very finicky, and the tile near the front door is close to being a hole in the floor. We were expecting more for the price we paid for the rental.
The house was big enough for our needs. Having only two rolls of toilet paper for a total of 10 bathrooms is a little crazy, but food lion is directly across the street. The house could use some updates with the bathrooms and carpet but overall our stay was exactly what we needed.
Family had a great time. There is a door leading to the balcony in front bedroom on 2nd floor that would not lock. No problem with us but just wanted to let you know.
The positives were individual bathrooms for all the single bedrooms, location, and easy check in.
This property felt run down compared to others we visited in the area. Lots of wear marks along the walls, multiple door locks were worn and broke when attempting to use, hottub did not work on arrival (this was quickly remedied, howver I expected the mid week pool check that the company advertised to check that), a hole in the drywall, and most scary was the large piece of cement board that came down above front entrance during the storm which revealed a rotted deck (spongey on top side).
Overall the property was in a good location and easy to check in but the property felt slapped together with little attention paid to key areas including a scary situation with the deck. Still have not heard anything from the company on explanation for this safety oversight.
All ages always had something to do. Never a dull moment. Didn't even have time to have the TV on!
Following items need your attention:
One vacuum cleaner does not vacuum.
Someone, not in our group, used the backyard grassy area as a trash bin; it is not our trash.
We came to stay for a family reunion. This house was well priced and had more flexibility in minimum nights than other homes nearby, which was nice. The house had great spaces and could fit a lot of people. Everyone was comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied. Check in time was fairly late (5 pm) and check out was very early (9 am). Seaside Vacations was transparent about what (very few) supplies they provide and what to expect. It does feel like for what you pay to stay at a house like this, and if they want you to take good care of the property, it is a very scant "starter kit." I mean, 2 rolls of toilet paper for a house that has 8 bathrooms? It would be nice if there were some general cleaning supplies available. Also they don't make any of the beds for you. The sheets come in a shrink wrapped package and you've got to make all the beds before you can go to bed. Not ideal at any time, but especially with such a late check in time. It just feels like a cost-cutting short cut. And I didn't love that we needed to spend the first hour of our vacation making beds and purchasing standard supplies. Otherwise, we enjoyed the location, the pool, the pool table, and the large kitchen table where there was space for everyone.
Great home for large families. Had a few minor issues that were promptly resolved. Outside could use a little TLC (back yard fence) and porches but it didnât detract from us enjoying everything. Also a great area with something for everyone.
We stayed at this property for our nieceâs wedding. The location was great. Check in was great. But wow, we were shocked at the fact that we were offered TWO rolls of toilet paper (one-ply at that) for 9 bathrooms with toilets. We quickly realized that we needed to go grocery shopping-for EVERYTHING! Soap, shampoo, paper towels, dish soap. For the amount of $ we spent on the booking, I would have figured at least those necessities would be provided. By the way, you have to make your own bed! Like put the sheets on each bed!! There werenât enough drinking/wine glasses to accommodate 11 people. (Plenty of champagne flutes, which arenât ideal for any drinks with ice). Donât forget to grab solo cups with the rest of your shopping needs!
Make no mistake, we enjoyed ourselves, because our family is FUN, but we found the grill had beer cans in it (we didnât even use the grill), the front door was in need of a major scrubbing, and unless the critter died within hours of our arrival (after being cleaned), there was a dead roach downstairs in one of the bedrooms, (clearly visible to any cleaning person).
All in all, we enjoyed our stay. (The pool table was a big hit!) But please make note to bring ALL essentials to this property! You will be better prepared than we were.
Annually my family and close family friends get together since moving away from each other 15 years ago. We usually go to Gatlinburg but decided to do a better beach trip instead. Best idea and vacay spot ever. Beach days, bike rides, boogie boarding, shopping, grilling fresh fish out by the pool, so much to do and so little time.
This house was aggressively devoid of supplies. We had to buy toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher tablets, dish soap, soap, shampoo, etc. It just seems ridiculous to me that they don't have enough time to pus sheets on the bed, but they do have enough time remove items that would be useful for the next guest.
We took our softball team for 3 nights and had an amazing time. This place is in a great location and had plenty of room for our 12 players and 4 coaches.
Our stay at the townhouse was absolutely amazing. There were 22 of us. Plenty room for everyone.
Our stay was from November 22-27, 2022.
Family members traveled from SC, NC & Indiana to be together for Thanksgiving. Maintenance was very prompt when I called about the outside lights not working. We loved the huge table because all of us were able to sit together as a family each day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I must admit, the chairs are very study but heavy. I would suggest adding some felt pads or rubber sliders to the bottom of all the chairs to possibly eliminate the noise when the chairs are moved. We played card games, listen to music, watched the huge rival football game between Clemson Tigers & SC Gamecocks football game together which was LOTS of fun because our family is split between supporting each team. The weather was very nice so we got a chance to walk on the beachfront. The home is very accommodating. Everything as mentioned in the advertisement. There were 22 family members in our group. Checking in & checking out process was a breeze. We highly recommend this place for future family gatherings. We're already planning our next trip.
