A fully fenced-in pool and hot tub area with a tiki bar and a rec room with a pool table, wet bar, and full-size refrigerator perfect for keeping snacks and drinks on hand for the pool and rec room. The open concept of the top level where the kitchen, great room, and dining room are all centrally located makes it convenient for your group to spend time together and the loft makes a perfect little spot to read. Pack your beach bag and grab your favorite chair and head to the two easily accessible beach accesses, one on Hollowell St and the other on Curlew St where you have a community pathway that leads to the access.
After your busy day at the beach, pool or sightseeing everyone will be able to find the perfect place to relax with four en-suite bedrooms and one kid-friendly bedroom. The elevator which accesses all levels will make bringing in groceries and luggage a breeze. Don't forget your furry friends either they love a vacation too and Hendrix Hideaway is dog friendly so make sure to bring them along for those OBX memories.

Beach Access: Close to Curlew Street or Hallowell Street Public Beach Accesses! Both offer paved parking lots, outdoor showers and wooden walkways for easy access to the sand.
No Smoking/Vaping. Pet-Friendly - Dogs only under 20 lbs - 2 Dogs Maximum Allowed. Dogs allowed for an additional per pet fee. Private pools open Easter through Columbus Day.

All reservations are offered to purchase travel insurance for an additional 7.75% of your rent and taxes. Please refer to the rental agreement you will be signing to accept or decline this coverage as your refund in the time of cancellation will be dependent on your acceptance in most situations. All guests must sign and return a rental agreement before reservations are confirmed. Payment for travel insurance, if accepted, will be processed upon receipt of this signed agreement.
Standard cancellation policy is: CANCELLATION POLICY and SUBSTITUTIONS - Any changes, including changing dates, switching of properties, or complete cancellations will invoke the cancellation policy. Agent recommends all Renters purchase travel insurance offered at time of booking to protect them in the event of an unexpected event affecting their vacation. Agent cannot offer future credits or immediate refunds for unexpected cancellations due to emergencies regardless of the situation, including but not limited to weather events and acts of God, unexpected illnesses, injury or death, changing of plans, or job loss. Please do not ask. All cancellations are subject to a fifty dollar ($50.00) cancellation fee. Cancellations must be submitted to Agent in writing (email is acceptable). In the event of cancellation, no refund of monies paid will be made unless the Property is re-rented for the same price and time period of this original vacation rental agreement. If the Property is re-rented for a lesser price or time period, the original Tenant will receive a refund for the difference between the originally agreed upon rental amount and the rebooked rental amount as Owner is entitled to receive the full amount of the original rental agreement. Agent will make every effort to re-rent the Property at the full amount. Tenant acknowledges that Agent has full discretion on negotiating rental rates in an effort to get the Property re-rented and make the Owner whole, while also attempting to get the Tenant the highest refund possible.
The house and location are excellent. It is situated in a cul-de-sac, which makes it easy to watch little ones ride outside. The walk to the beach is pleasant, and restaurants are very close by.
The overall stay was nice and the house is awesome especially the layout of the house for large group/family. The elevator was nice to have for those that struggle with a lot of stairs and the house was cozy. The was board games and great surround sound system for entertainment. There is also a balcony for every room in the house and each bedroom has their own bathroom which was great. It is pet friendly and is expected to have issues but only bad thing was there is stains on the carpet in the bedrooms. The house didnât smell of any odors though it was just stains. I did take pictures on arrival to be sure I wasnât to blame but that honestly is the only negative thing I can say about this property. I would rent again if needed without a doubt
This house had it all! Anything you could possibly think of was at your fingertips, the layout was great for our large family. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and are hoping to book again for next year.
House was very clean! Great customer service from management. Location was okay and hot tub in winter was nice. Beds were comfortable.
HoweverâŠ.fireplace never worked or got fixed during our stay. Dishwasher malfunctioned to the point we just washed by hand, some table were chairs coming apart, some outside doors were very hard to close and lock and the dryer vent was 99% clogged. My husband spent some time cleaning out dryer vents in and out.
Granted the management company was very responsive, we did have the maintenance guy out multiple times and some things were not able to be repaired during out stay. We were given a $50 reimbursement (could have taken a slightly discounted extra night but chose not to).
Aside from some appliance issues it was a good rental, these will be fixed for the next renter I am sure.
