Great place, great location, great host!

Tyler was a wonderful host, making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The house and the location were superb. I will happily stay at this property again if we head out to the outter banks.

Favorite beach house!!!

Absolutely best beach house to stay in. One minute walk to the beach. We had the whole beach to ourselves. Close to everything but hardly saw anyone near the beach. Beach house was super clean!!!

Very nice clean rental, neighbors all very nice as well. Within short driving distance of hustle and bustle of all kinds of fun activities but far enough away for the relaxing quiet. Great Getaway for a girls “weekend”-5days

My 2 best girlfriends and I haven’t had a chance to get together in 3 years. Finding the time, a great location and careers are challenging to work around. All of us have fond memories of our parents taking us as young children to this area for beach trips. We loved talking about our unique adventures as children, before we met in Jr Highschool. Now we have amazing new memories of our time together. This property is beautifully located away from the busy commercial areas of OBX but close enough to access them by car or bike ride. The house is very close to the beach and there is a public access staircase over the sand dune for easy access. I would LOVE to stay here again in the future and bring my family to hang out with their ‘Aunts’.

Fall Break Family Vacay

The house was great. Perfect location. We did so much OBX had to offer. The dunes, the beach, the lighthouse, restaurants, putt putt, golf, we played board games and used the hot tub, chairs, surfboards and sand toys that were at the property Everything was exceptional! The only thing i would recommend is supplying bath towels, trashbags, toilet paper and extra dish detergent. We had to go get these items after we arrived there. Other than that, it was perfect. 5 Stars!!

This cottage was very clean and well maintained. This is probably the cleanest and best maintained property that I have vacationed at. Usually appliances do not work or are dirty, not so at Sugaree. Location was closer to the beach than we expected. We had two 4 yr olds and one limited mobility adult in our group. They had no issues with short walk to beach. Little ones loved the toy basket--thankyou! Peaceful neighborhood with good sunrise and sunsets from upper deck. We would choose this charming cottage again.

Fantastic beachside getaway

We had an amazing time staying here, the owners were incredibly helpful and the home is gorgeous! Having the combination of the beach only steps away and the hot tub available on the deck made for a wonderfully relaxing vacation. We will definitely be trying to return ASAP!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and had great views from every deck. During a rainstorm, we were able to enjoy the porch which offered views of the beach and a cool comfortable place to hang out. The cottage is very close to the beach making it easily accessible. Home away from home

Sugaree is our go-to property when looking to book in the OBX. Quiet location steps from the beach, near shopping, historic sites, and restaurants. The home is super clean with games for all ages for those rainy days, well stocked pantry, great layout to give teens their space. Host answered questions quickly and gave suggestions for activities and eating in the area.

Had a great time even with a tropical storm hitting while we were there. Super convenient access to the beach. There is a lifeguard station right at the beach access point so that's a bonus for piece of mind especially if you have kids. The beach never gets crowded. Absolutely Wonderful Cottage!

We had an amazing time at Sugaree! This was our 3rd trip to Nags Head and this by far is our favorite place. Very clean and the listing details were 100% accurate. Fantastic location and great neighborhood. Super convenient access to the beach. The view from the top deck was beautiful, especially during sunrise and sunset. The closed in front porch was extremely cozy and our favorite place to relax. Hot tub was a great added bonus. Tyler was an exceptional host and we will definitely stay at Sugaree again.

Family vacation

We traveled to Nags Head for a family vacation, Sugaree was a great choice for us to stay. We had 5 people andl there was more than enough for everyone. Fantastic property and hosts

Host is SUPER responsive, they have an EXTREMELY well stocked house with LOTS of toys, board games, dvds for rainy days etc. that just blew me away on one has ever had such a selection of those! House was also SO convenient to the beach and you can sit on the porch with a glass of wine and watch the sun set or rise and hear the waves crashing - which was SO relaxing! We had an issue crop up with the door lock malfunctioning and on a Fri night their maintenance man was there in less than 30 min or so from first reaching out to the owner to address it! Highly recommend this property and anything with these owners! We will be back for sure :)

Great spot for grandparents and grand children

Sugaree was really thoughtfully stocked for multi-generations. The upstairs area for kids was perfect, the layout on the main floor worked very well. The kitchen is well stocked and the proximity to the beach was perfect. And the hot tub was a winner for the adults.

Wow! Amazing house

What a wonderful place to stay. It was so clean and well decorated. Everything you need to have a comfortable and fun stay. The beach is in perfect walking distance and you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The owner was quick with replies to questions. Would recommend this house to family and friends and we hope to visit again one day.
