This cheery multilevel home is tastefully decorated and appointed. Main floor: large open living room dining area and kitchen opening up onto a beautifully landscaped terrace and garden. Two twin bedrooms and one bathroom.
Lower (street) level: Bedroom with queen bed and private full bathroom. Second floor: master bedroom suite with queen bed, private full bathroom and walk-in closet/changing room and a day bed.
This perfect Nantucket location is an easy walk into town, to the windmill, to open parks and charming lanes. Away from the hustle and bustle of Nantucket tourists and traffic and yet so close to everything!

Perfect set up for our family needs with 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths all used. Great location. Bedroom carpeting and bathroom flooring on main level was dated and grungy. Main level bathroom tub could use non-skid tape for shower use - very slippery and bathroom sink was slow. Kitchen dated and could use a new coat of paint on the cabinets and newer countertops. Well appointed throughout and recommend as a good place to stay.

Location doesn’t get better than this! You’re walkable to town but also convenient to mid island and many beaches! The layout of bedrooms makes it feel spacious for a group (everyone gets their own space) and it’s very well appointed with all the necessities. Tom is a super responsive and helpful host. Highly recommend!

Perfect Summer Stay

We loved our stay at “Trunkles” this summer! Perfect space for our family, with 3 separate floors with private baths for each floor. Lots of fun Nantucket decor, very nicely stocked with everything we needed, and an easy walk into town. Very quiet street as well! Great house!

Excellent house excellent location

This house couldn’t be in a more perfect location. The house has every amenity you could possibly want. We love to cook and all the pots, utensils were available. The patio is so fun!! We will want to come back!

As Advertised - No Complaints

A very clean and well laid out home. Communication was great, check-in was easy. As advertised it is a 10-15 minute walk from downtown, but there are a lot of uneven brick sidewalks and cobblestone streets, so depending on your age and the shoes you are wearing you might want to consider the 10-15 Uber/Lyft option when heading to town. Everyone in our group was impressed and satisfied with the accommodations. Note, it is a 3 story house that sits on a hillside, so you need to be mobile enough to handle a few steps and stairs. Thanks Tom for the hospitality!

Another amazing stay! We had the opportunity to stay at this property in the fall of 2023 and were lucky enough to get back to stay there this year. It’s the perfect layout for our extended family (grandparents, kiddos, etc.) to all have our own space. It’s a great location and was perfect for everything we needed! Perfect Spot

We needed a comfortable place for a group of family members attending a 40th birthday and were so pleased to find Tom's cozy spot. It's perfectly located – easily walkable to downtown, but away from the bustle. Sleeps plenty of adults without feeling like a bunkhouse, with a good kitchen and plenty of space to relax and be together.

Perfect in every way!!

Highly recommend Tom’s home. It is perfectly situated - quick walk to town and a quick drive to everywhere (truly everywhere!) else. The home is well stocked with anything you could need and super spacious. A great layout for a group so you don’t feel on top of each other! We hope to be back very soon!

Great location

This home is located in a great area and close proximity to downtown. The owners were easy to work with and very responsive when needed. We were hoping this home was a bit more higher end and wish it was in better shape. The furnishings were veey tired and need to be replaced as well as all the towels and linens. The towels were torn and scratchy. The outside patio furniture was covered in moss. Other than the location being convenient I'm sorry to say we would not rent again unless there were some updates.

Trunkles is the perfect Nantucket home! Beautifully detailed and in an ideal location that is walking distance to downtown! The home is charming and classic with the perfect amount of space for a family. The multi level bedrooms give everyone their needed privacy. Every room was spacious and cozy! Great place for family gathering!

We were on the island for a wedding and rented the property for us/family. We could not have been happier. Clean, well equipped (dinner/breakfast) and perfect for talking into the night. Highly recommend.

Authentically Nantucket

A stay on Nantucket island would be amiss without claiming one of the quaint, grey-shingled cottages as your own while you are there. This one does not disappoint. Just a couple of blocks off the cobblestone Main Street, it is furnished just as you would imagine - with Old World, New England-style pieces to preserve the charm of the area. The host made it easy to access and everything you need in a full kitchen is there - even tupperware containers and ziplock bags. The backyard patio is like a private oasis. There are two rooms with full/queen beds with private bathrooms and two rooms with twins that share a bathroom. All were reportedly comfortable. We walked to shopping and the harbor with no trouble and it is fun to explore the neighborhood! We were delighted to find this place and hope to return again one day.
