The 1st room we had was on the top floor, everything was good until night came & then we had a loud drone noise all night long. Got no sleep at all. In the morning we told reception, they were very sorry & moved us to another room for the rest of our stay. (There was a pump on the roof that was broken)

I booked this hotel then realised I had booked for the wrong date. I contacted them straight away to ask if the booking could be changed. 24 hours later they advised there was no availability on the alternative date so advised I would cancel the booking. The hotel charged me the full room rate and refused to offer any refund.

Great Seaview. The wee lawn needed mowing though otherwise it was great. Perhaps some outside furniture?

Staff were great, but maintenance of the place is pretty poor. Sliding door to balcony doesn't close properly as is misaligned, drain in the bath smelt like rotting fish. First room I was assigned hadn't been cleaned since a tradie had been in and there was plaster and saw dust all through carpets and on counters. Staff are lovely, but it seem they are massively understaffed to keep on top of cleaning and maintenance.

Clean and tidy rooms with wonderful view of the beachfront. Close by to main city centre. The only issue we found was that the toilet flush button was difficult to press in the bathroom.
