Spacious pet friendly, two bedroom single level cottage on Bluff Hill. Own entrance, off street parking and a private sunny back courtyard. The perfect location for exploring Hawke's Bay's attractions.
Completely self contained and within easy walking distance to Marine Parade with all it has to offer, local swim safe beach and an array of cafes and eateries. A local mini market close by, pizza and fish and chips within walking distance. Please note that a PET FEE IS CHARGED PER STAY.

I would highly recommend a visit to Didi’s Place. Next time we are visiting Ahuriri I really hope the stunning cottage is available. It’s so good not having to rely on a car as everything is within walking distance.

Nice weekend retreat, comfortable with lots of little extras including breakfast muesli/yogurt and some lollies which my son loved. Would highly recommend and would stay again if we need to visit Napier again. Thanks for your hospitality.

Great stay at Didi's place

We had a lovely time in Didi's charming little home. There were lots of thoughtful touches - like extra toiletries in case you forgot yours, a yummy breakfast and chocolate biscuits on the table. Everything was spotlessly clean and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. It was also great to have the fenced area for our dogs. And the dog beds were another nice touch. Overall, it was a great spot to spend a few days. Very handy to town too.

Our stay at Didi’s Place was absolutely outstanding! The location was perfect, situated in a great area that made everything easily accessible. The house itself had everything we could possibly need, making our stay incredibly comfortable. One of the most thoughtful touches was the warm welcome upon arrival—sweets, fruits, yogurts, milk, and cereals were waiting for us, making us feel instantly at home. The house exuded a cozy, family-like atmosphere, which added to the overall charm of our experience. Every detail was carefully considered, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Without a doubt, this was a 5-star experience, and we would love to return in the future! Highly recommended!

Above and beyond!

Everything we needed (except for fly spray, which we didn't manage to locate!) and so many little extra touches to make us feel welcome, like the flowers, biscuits, muesli and yoghourt, not to mention all the helpful info. Thanks heaps for letting us use your place. We had a great stay. :-D

Gorgeous little spot

We had a lovely stay at Didi’s - very handy for exploring Napier but also a nice cosy home away from home when we were staying in. Great to have use of a washing machine whilst travelling about, and genius idea to have all instructions for any devices on laminated sheets throughout the property - even I couldn’t go wrong! Dropped one star unfortunately (due to neighbours rather than the property itself ) as next door had loud music playing most of the day into the night, and there was a large group of young women staying on the other side with associated noise, but for comfort, cleanliness and convenience it’s otherwise a top score, and I’m sure we will be seeking out Didi’s Place if we are back this way again.

Just go ahead and book it.

I have stayed in many book-a-baches over the years, and while most are always great, a few just rise out above the rest to stand as being exceptional. And Didi's place is one of those exceptional ones. The extra thoughtfulness is simply outstanding - we arrived on a hot 28 degrees afternoon and the A/C had been turned on for when we arrive so we got to walk into a cool and blissful space. Fresh fruit in a bowl, muesli with yoghurt or milk ready for breakfast, spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable, full size fridge and stove, and all very centrally located. Just simply one of the exceptional places available on book-a-bach. Thank-you Delia.

Great stay

Can walk to Ahurihi and the city centre but if you can't do hills then drive or get the bus. Wonderful for the dogs. Fully fenced back yard. Absolutely everything you may need and more. Thank you for the goodies and the dog beds (we took our own anyway. Also recommend Pakowhai Regional (dog) park. Just wonderful. Taking my photos to work tomorrow to show people the property

Lovely dog friendly place

Enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Well presented and clean little property. Nice little extras of coffee and chocolate. Our 2 dogs loved the dog beds and great to have dog bowls provided. Small well fenced area for dogs in the lovely patio area. Excellent communication with host. Perfect location as close to city centre and easy to get too.

Crib stay

We enjoyed staying in this little crib (Scottish for cottage). It had everything we needed; within easy walking distance to the CBD. Thanks to the hostess for the sweet treats and special coffee. We found the microwave a bit high up, both of us being vertically challenged!
