We loved Napoli. And we really enjoyed staying at this apartment. Itâs located in a quiet street but close to everything. Our family really appreciated all the space and having two bathrooms. Also loved the large terrace! Thank you for a wonderful stay.
First, the positive: It has charm, the view is good, but it's more 'shabby' than chic. The negative: If you have any allergies or sensitivities to scents, this apartment may be problematic; The furniture is stale and the pieces smell of dust, rotting wood and rotting lacquer. The chairs on the dining table were flimsy and appeared unsafe to use. The bed headboard was faded, stained and stale. The bed was very, very firm, which may or may not be to your liking. There were cheap, toxic potpourri overused throughout the apartment. The bathroom tiles were moldy, including areas of black mold. The outdoor furniture was rotted and the decaying white paint on the chairs transferred to our clothing. The lounge chairs were rotted and precarious to use. The apartment has seemingly nice design elements, pretty flooring, and a fairly well-equipped kitchen, but overall it was worn and smelled. The entrance and lobby is gritty and decayed and you have to be prepared to use 10 cent Euro for the elevator. The floors aren't as clean as they may appear. We discovered that when the sink pipe in one of the bathrooms erupted and water leaked all over the floor. Upon mopping it up, the towel and sponge we used were black. The hosts were prompt in communicating, but overall, the apartment is overrated in our experience.
