Beautiful condo on the bay, restaurant fabulous. My only complaint would be the noise from the construction at the nearby Ritz development. It started every morning at 7:30am and continued all day- not the resorts fault. Also, a girls volleyball team was staying at the hotel- partying in the hallway until 2am. Called management and they didn’t answer- police were contacted by several different guests. Other than the noise issues- a fabulous place!

Perfect size room, perfect size kitchen, perfect size eating area and private patio however the room is directly next to the restaurants kitchen therefore the small of grease mixed with cleaning products penetrates through the patio and the room. But it’s not constant or unbearable

A wonderful find! Steps to the beach, from ocean front rooms to the condo’s on the bay. The staff is meticulous in detail and friendly in every aspect. The Turtle Club restaurant was terrific and you can choose to sit inside or a more casual spot on the beach area they own, with white sand. The rooms are minimalist and tight around the bed. The daybeds are comfortable (the sheets are on them already. The mini kitchen has what you need if you want to cook but no oven. This is a family owned business and with that said, you feel the comfort and kindness with every staff member. The beach server talked to us for a bit and said she has worked there for 29 years and now her children work there now as well. Love it!!

Great location. We were able to have dinner at Turtle Club restaurant. Food was great. Parking was across the street. The room was on the first level, no view. That was the only unexpected item. Easy access. No bathrobes. Cleanliness is okay. Not spotless. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook if needed. Beds are not really comfortable. Noisy in the morning.

Our condo was beautiful and had amazing views from every angle! The front desk was extremely helpful and friendly as was the amazing bar staff. Only downside was no breakfast at the resort or really anywhere in walking distance. Not a deal breaker. Amazing stay!

While the hotel was quaint and nice, to call it a beach "resort" is a bit of a stretch. When I think of beach "resort" I envision a tiki bar, a spa, and luxury amenities. The hotel is nice... it's quaint, but it has more of a beach side motel feel. It has a small pool that is hardly a "resort" pool. The restaurant is open to the public. So, despite getting there at 5: 00pm (two of us) we were told there were no dinner reservations available (even for hotel guests) until 7:30 pm - for dining outside. Guests had no priority over external patrons in terms of the restaurant. Looking at the menu, the dinner prices were insane $$$$. I think I could have eaten cheaper at the Ritz. So, it's a nice, clean beach side motel, but hardly a resort.

My family and I had an amazing stay at the Vanderbilt Beach Resort. From start to finish, our experience was just perfect. We arrived early, and our room was ready. The room was everything we wanted and more; fully equipped, oceanfront, clean, and homey. The views at the resort are unmatched. So many staff members made our stay special, but Lauren was a real highlight. She bent over backwards to accommodate our requests, set us up with complimentary bikes (highly recommend), and was an overall joy. We highly recommend and will definitely be going back!

The Hotel and Turtle Club restaurant are Amazing. The staff are so genuinely helpful and happy, which makes a great experience all around. The beach being so close just provides an “old Florida” feel that is hard to find. Will definitely be back!
