The Mountain Heights Lodge was lovely. Fabulous hosts, very comfortable and spacious rooms. Convenient for the walking trails. Short drive to cafes (The Station for great coffee and just opened for dinner) and pubs.

Great for Tongariro national park

Lovely hotel with comfortable room and a nice continental breakfast. Very convenient for Tongariro national park. Very welcoming owner. No restaurant on site but s short drive to restaurants.

This property is old but clean. I think all the motels/hotels in the area are old. It was ok for one night. The best part was the lady who checked us in. She was very pleasant and helpful.

Very well presented. Had all that we needed in a unit. It was immaculate. Very helpful owner and staff. A real highlight was going outside at night, and with a cloudless sky seeing an amazing night sky filled with millions of stars - all as a result of not having any light pollution.
