Perla Casa Mikri Vigla

Perla Casa is a wonderful seaside house in a complex with other 8 houses with a shared pool. The house is 70m from the famous windsurfing and kitesurfing on Mikri Vigla beach north side. On the south side of Mikri Vigla just 700m you will find some of the calmest waters in Naxos which are great for swimming and relaxing.

On the main floor there is an open plan fully equipped kitchen with living room and dinning area, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and bathroom. The main floor is also the main access to outdoor dining areas.
On the basement floor which comprises in a separate entrance there are 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and 1 with two single beds and bathroom with shower.

Gorgeous location
Mikra Vigla is a lovely area with lots of sandy beaches nearby! A bit of a surprise, based on the description in the VRBO listing information, to find that 2 out of the 3 bedrooms were, in fact, below ground,at the rear of the property, each room with a ground level window...and needed to be accessed through some exterior household steps and a separate set of locks...good equipment and appointments

Great place
Close to beach, shops, bakery and restaurants. Shared pool with 4 other houses but big enough area to accommodate everyone. Tidy house with everything you need all at a reasonable price. Prop managers were very helpful too ordering taxi and helping us get used to the area.

Fantastic location, great apartment
2nd time we stay here, so no surprise we're very satisfied repeat guests. It naurally comes with the location, at a kite beach, that it is usually very windy, 25+ knots, also in the evenings.

The complex was reasonably well kept. Location good for beaching, touring with a Greek experience.
The villa was clean. Outdoor access via stairs to main bedrooms and a bathroom with the need to lock upstairs at night was a hassle. The outdoor area at rear of villa is unusable as the tree needs to be trimmed so you can enjoy this area on a windy day. Furniture in both outdoor areas needs some attention so you do not have to move chairs all the time. There is no formal sitting area internally with appropriate furniture for lounging which is needed on windy days. The kitchen is in need of bench stools. Wi-fi access was not always available. Overall a pleasant stay but not value for money. Maria, property manager was very pleasant and helpful. We loved Naxos as a holiday destination.

Great location, modern accomodation close to the beach
We stayed in Mikri Vigla for one week at the beginning of the season (end of April). We were nicely welcomed by Maria, who owns another flat in the same building. She is a local and made us feel welcome straight away! We were very lucky with the weather, sun and pleasant temperatures almost all week, only one day of rain. The accommodation is on a peninsula about 100m from Mikri Vigla beach and 500m from a second beach toward the south. This second beach (I dont remember the name) has stunning rock formations at the northern end and is nicely sheltered from the wind, so we mostly went there. The house is newly built (I think we were the first guests), modern equipment from washing machine to dishwasher, nothing missing (we cooked ourselves most of the time). We liked the two large terraces (one on either side), we used one in the morning and one in the evening. There are 3 bedrooms, all of them quite large for a holiday flat. AC in all rooms although we did not need it in April. The house also shares a common pool with the other accommodations (7 in total I think), but we never used it, as the beach was close (and the water was colder than the sea when we were there, the pool is unheated). There are a few restaurants within walking distance, we would especially recommend the fish Taverna on the second beach.. Also, supermarket and bakery store at about 500m. There is a kitesurfing and windsurfing school on the beach at about 100m from the accommodation. We rented a car to get around the island (well worth it, many things to see). So in summary a very modern holiday flat in a great location, we can definitely recommend. Thumbs up, we will return!

New apartments in top location
Brand new apartments in a great location in Naxos. The apartments were very clean and everything worked great, including the complimentary WiFi service, and also importantly the air condition equipment. We rented a 3 bedroom apt with beds for 6 people, it is a 2 story affair with bathrooms and showers in each floor. Washing machine was available. The location in Mikri Vigla is great for the water sport enthusiast, as the access to the Kite Beach is just on your doorstep. Moreover, the wonderful other beach on the leeward side of the little peninsula is just a 5 minute walk away. If you come here without a car you will still be fine, a great supermarket and a bakery is located close by, 10 minutes by foot. Mikri Vigla is a obviously a windy location, hence the great conditions for kite- and windsurfing. But it also means it could be windy also in the evening, which means the outdoor dinners will have to be arranged accordingly. The apartments do have an outdoor wind shield arrangement at the front patio that helps. We did not have any issues with the wind. Maria Nafplioti, the agent, was extremely helpful in arranging our arrival and departure, as well as providing very helpful practical information ahead of our stay. She was available 24 hrs to help, as an example we had a power outage one evening, she managed to get an electrician to come by within an hour to fix this. In summary, a great home away for us. We'll definitely try to come back next year.

Perfect vacation
We had a very very nice time. The house is very new, stylish and clean and is exactly like the pictures shows it. Perfect Location, you can reach two beautiful beaches, supermarket and restaurants by feet. And the hosts are very nice, caring and supportiv. You get any help you need any time. We totally enjoyed our stay.

Shortly; location and villa are highly recommendable, but minus for outside stairs and pool location
Elena was extremely helpful! She answered all questions really fast. We felt very welcome. Two beaches are really near, and one of them is always almost not windy. There are two supermarkets and a really Good bakery close by as well. We stayed for one week with 4 kids - and Did not miss a car! The house is clean and nice. The only thing is that there are only outside stairs between basement and ground floor, which is a bit inconvinient. And the pool is outside two apartments, so you feel a bit like being illegally in someone elses pool. Shortly; location and place are highly recommendable!
