The appartment had everything we needed. We were able to cook for ourselves. It was very clean and had lots of space to hang and store clothing if you wanted to unpack. It is 2 minutes from the beach (great placeto see the sunset) with a grocery store across the street. There is a great bike rental shop a few streets over and the couple are amazing They were very helpful in giving us directions.

This was a very cute property close to the beach, on a beautiful street. It was quiet. Most required amenities were included along with some additional amenities which were appreciated (ie. adapter). There was a mini-mercado almost across the street so easy to grab what you need. It was up 3 flights of stairs so as long as that is not an issue (and it wasn't for us), then it's perfect. Great value also.

Nice Place to Stay in Nazare

Superb location on a quiet side street just 1 minute walk to the main street near the beach. Close to everything in Nazare. Nice functional kitchen, comfortable bed, good floor plan. The sea view is only from the small balcony or if you open the bedroom window and poke your head outside. Overall a good place to stay in Nazare.

The apartment is in excellent condition, clean, with a good shower, air conditioning, and a comfortable bed, 2 minutes walk from the beach. Property is very good value, very close to the beach, very clean, spacious, safe and quiet However you need to know that it may be challenging to find it. There are no attendants. Therefore make sure to be in touch with the owner before arrival to obtain details on how to enter the property. The owner provided easy parking close by for a small fee but make sure to let her know ahead Additionally we were not informed that water stops before midnight but resumes in the morning. We were not informed of this beforehand thus was distressing. Better communication and more details would have been nice Now that I know how it worked I would gladly stay again but just warning those who have not been here before to be aware of these. Street runs one way from the beach up the hill so if driving this detail will be helpful also.

Irresponsible

Unfortunately we faced a very negative situation. The manager e did not seeminly understand the gravity of the matter. Perhaps language/ culture playing a part would like to give Ema the benefit of the doubt. The suite itself is beautiful, great location, well appointed, stylish. We thought it and believed it would be the 9.6 rating it was billed as. The issue we encountered, we felt was serious. We had hoped the property would do the right thing and take responsibility. Instead they offered a sorry and then went silent. At check in we noticed a smell but assumed it was a cleaning agent. We arrived shortly after the suite had been readied for our arrival. We spent the bulk of the afternoon and the early part of the evening out enjoying Nazare. We returned to the suite after dinner and turned in early. We awoke to an overwelming smell of mothballs. We uncovered two packs of these in the bedroom cupboard amongst some fabrics. Of course we moved these outside once discovered and alerted the property. The fumes were so toxic that the bedroom could not be slept in for a number of hours in the middle of the night. The fumes disapated somewhat with time but by then both my wife and I were experiencing the affects of being in close proximity for an extended period of time. A Google search clearly laid out the effects, concerns and risks associated with this product. This is serious stuff. Banned in most parts of Europe, certinally not for use in an area where people are sleeping.
