Wonderful Andalusian house in a superb Nature Reserve

Andalusian house on the hills overlooking Playa del Cañuelo, nearby Nerja, at 1h from Målaga. Made of one larger house and a lodge united in one fully private house, it comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Outside, the open and covered terraces, garden & private pool offer overwhelming space to enjoy the sun and nature in this protected Reserve.

The house has witnessed the time when the house was inhabited and the land farmed. All old-style elements are still in place to retain its original character: pots and jugs anciently used for water and the 'alberca' transformed into a cozy secluded private swimming pool.
La Fuente is first and foremost a family house. No gadgets, but all comfort to ensure a relaxing holiday: WiFi, dish-washer, washing machine, fireplaces and heating devices for the winter.

At 800m, the now renowned 'Playa del Cañuelo' is a paradise for beachgoers, snorkel and scuba divers. It offers now 2 restaurants - depending on season.

At 10km, Nerja has countless shops, supermarkets, typical and exotic restaurants, tapas bars and all services one might wish.
The Nature Reserve of Sierra de Almijara has unlimited trekking possibilities, from a 1 hour walk to a day excursion. The area is known for its rich wildlife and spectacular landscapes. A drive to the Rio de la Miel springs or Peña Escrita reveals gorgeous mountain sceneries.

The area offers many activities: trekking, mountain bike, canoe, paddle, snorkel, scuba diving, river trekking, horse riding, jeep trips, tennis, golf (at 20km) and more. The region is very rich in culture and historical sites. The famous Caves of Nerja are at just 10km.
Within a half day or a day journey, some famous landmarks can be visited: Granada and Alhambra, Sevilla, CĂłrdoba, Ronda, Sierra Nevada, AlmerĂ­a & Gibraltar.

Un petit paradis

Cojito La Fuente est un petit paradis au milieu de la nature. On s'y sent bien dĂšs l'arrivĂ©e. Beaucoup de sĂ©rĂ©nitĂ© et de beautĂ© pour des vacances trĂšs reposantes et ressourçantes. La maison est simple et confortable, il y a mĂȘme une guitare Ă  disposition ! La vue depuis les terrasses est un ravissement. Les chamois et les dauphins sont nos voisins. Ça donne trĂšs envie d'y revenir

Vacances à 11 km de Nerja avec plage privilégiée

2 petites maisons typiques, trÚs simples et trÚs agréables sans superflu. TrÚs bien située pour profiter du bord de mer en toute tranquillité avec vue sur la mer et plage non accessible en voiture, à 15mn à pieds en contrebas. Prévoir le bois et le charbon de bois pour utiliser la cheminée en cas de température fraßche.

Zauberhaftes Haus in wunderschöner Umgebung

Von der Vorbereitung bis zur Ankunft hat alles reibungslos geklappt. Das Haus ist Ă€lteren Baujahrs mit urigen alten HolztĂŒren, SchrĂ€nken und Truhen aber hgleichzeitig ausgestattet mit allem, was das moderne Leben angenehm macht. Wir haben viel Zeit am und im Haus verbracht und meistens selbst gekocht, da es schwer sein dĂŒrfte, ein Restaurant mit dieser traumhaften Aussicht zu finden. Der Pool war das TĂŒpfelchen auf dem "i" und lud zur AbkĂŒhlung ein. Die Sonne ging hinter den Bergen unter, dafĂŒr gab es wunderschöne MonduntergĂ€nge ĂŒber dem Meer und sternenklare NĂ€chte auf der Dachterrasse. Wir haben eine wunderbare Zeit dort verbracht.

Sehr schöne Lage.

Das Haus und Nebenhaus sind sauber und einfach eingerichtet, es fehlte an nichts. Es hat eine traumhafte Lage mit Blick auf's Meer. Zum Erholen und Entspannen genau der richtige Ort. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr unkompliziert und Fragen wurden innerhalb kĂŒrzester Zeit beantwortet. Das einzigste was Nachts etwas fehlte war eine Klimaanlage. EinkĂ€ufe waren ebenfalls kein Problem... ein kleiner Einkaufsladen befand sich einen Ort weiter (ca10 min) und ein großer Supermarkt (Lidl,Aldi,etc.) ca 15-20 min entfernt. beabeantwortet

Rust en een magnifiek uitzicht op zee

Charmant oud huis, vrijstaand in een bosrijke omgeving. We genoten iedere dag van de prachtige omgeving en het uitzicht. Lekker lezen in de zon overdag. In de avond was het wel frisjes binnen, maar ja, begin maart.

Fijne plek om te overwinteren

Het huis is prachtig gelegen. De inrichting is eenvoudig maar compleet. Eind januari/begin februari is het er heerlijk rustig. Rond het huis is er altijd wel een plek waar je uit de wind en in de zon kunt zitten. 's Avonds is het binnen wel fris; maar met de elektrische heaters is dat op te lossen. Zeker een plek om aan te raden!

An idyll by the sea

This was our first holiday for 3 years so there was a heavy weight of expectation, which the property lived up to in full. The location is wonderful, with tranquil terraces looking down to the Mediterranean. The accommodation is simple, but beautifully furnished. The playa del canuelo is lovely and even in August there was still plenty of space (although the limited number of umbrellas to rent fill up by the afternoon). The snorkeling is excellent along the rocks at the end of the beach, which has a very good restaurant (kitchen closes at 7.30, so perhaps better for lunch). A real find on the Costa del sol.

True pearl in Andalucia!

The houses are true Andalucian and hold everything one needs; the unfenced pool is challenging with a 4 year and a 2 year old but nonetheless it is a superb asset to the venue. Eventhough there is a path down to the marvelous beach and the superb lunchplace we took the 2 euro minivan down the mountain. The houses were spotlessly handed over to us by the cleaning team! PERFECT HOLIDAY IN EVERYWAY!

Our favorite stay so far on a world tour

This house is wonderful, secluded with beautiful views. We hardly ever wanted to leave. We did not rent a car, against Olaf's advice, but found that was just fine. The beach is a lovely walk and we enjoyed both restaurants down there so most days that we never needed transportation. When we did, taxis are reliable and reasonable. We had a little difficulty describing the place to them at first, but found most know "entrada playa del Cañuelo" and you can meet them just a short walk from the gate. The only situation I can think of in which I wouldn't want to stay there is with a crawling infant or toddler. Because of the pool and terraces it's better for kids who can understand and follow a few safety rules. Mine are 6 and 10 and loved the place. We didn't want to leave!

A relaxing, secluded paradise.

Our stay was idyllic. This is a very peaceful space. It is rustic but with all the modern requirements. Check in was easy and the hosts were very responsive with our questions and needs. It is a lovely hike down to a very secluded beach. My partner and I were here for a cycling adventure and our own yoga retreat and this property was perfect. Our only regret is that we didn't book it for the whole two weeks of our stay.
