Terrible customer service and refuse refund

We came through over night and this was one of the only hotels for several miles, they let us book online and when we got there around 2am was told they were completely booked and was nothing they could do about it. I Emailed several times and was told we would have to go through hotels.com for refund and then were told “per manager” of the hotel we were not allowed a refund even though we were not allowed to stay.

there were things left in the room that didn't get cleaned, like a wash rag with hair on it.. and they charged a $23 convenience fee and said id be returned that fee but didn't get it refunded. Nice enough place, but going to have to contact them for my refund.

Staff was friendly. Check-in was smooth. Elevators were broke down no access to the back door. Key cards didn't work parking lot needed some TLC. The room was old and not very clean. It was in a very convenient location easy to get to right off the freeway, but definitely not up to the standards of most holiday inns

Excellent Hotel. Food not so much

Room and bed was great! Very clean front desk attendance were very pleasant. Only thing we're not crazy about is the breakfast. Nothing to write home about we were disappointed. We would rather have a cheaper room rate and no breakfast then the rubbery sausage and other so-called food. But this hotel chain is the very top of our list

We came with our grandkids to use the pool we got there the pool was closed! Amenity’s zero! The blow dryer in our hotel barely blew any air! Went for breakfast was not anything available lady said changing management so what they have is all they have she seemed nice but flustered not her fault as I am writing this the power went out no backup generator? And we paid $155 a night for this?
