I don't think I'll stay in the "real" cave room again. The room is spacious but the floor plan is kind of awkward. Owners are nice. Breakfast is good like most of other Turkish hotels.

The owner was nice

The owner was very friendly and helpful. Location is not bad. You can see hot air balloons from a room or balcony in sunrise. That was incredible. I woke up very early for this view. Price is fare. Shower is ok. Cleanliness is ok too.

It was a very nice hotel that suites Cappadoccia.

Pleasant and Michael was very helpful. He made sure our plans were delivered such as our Hot Air Balloon Ride.

Great stay in Goreme

Sato Cave Hotel was a great atmosphere. Friendly and helpful operations by Michael. Great location in Goreme. Great views. Would stay again.

Real cave hotel at a good price

The hotel is not big but is a real cave hotel, which is beyond my expectation, as I had prepared to get a "fake" cave room as the room rate is quite low indeed. In addition to this, the boss and his staff are all very nice people, though may not be that kind of "familiar at first sight" people.We stayed for 2 nights at the hotel, and we enjoyed it.

Good value in Goreme

I stayed in the dorm... I got lucky and had some what of a private nook in the back. Actually, there was only one other person staying in the dorm, so it was fairly private anyway. Breakfast was delicious. I had Probably one of the best omlets with tomato and feta. The only down fall was it was a little hard to find. Overall, it was a great value.

Nice cheap hotel. In the heart of Istanbul nightlife. Our room was little bit noisy from outside til 2 am but not too much. Nice, helpful staff.

Great location

The hotel is just 5-8 mins walk from bus station, but it's a bit difficult to find on the first day of arrival. Hotel staff are very nice and friendly, we arrived in the early morning like 8am, he offered our room immediately without waiting and suggested us for the green tour started at 9:30am. He also helped us to book the hot air balloon tour with discount, which is around 30-40 euro cheaper than in the travel agency on the city street. When the night we left and go to bus station for bus, he offered free ride for us and helped for the luggage as well. Wifi network is not stable as it's a cave hotel, cave wall are thick. The view from the room and the rooftop is amazing.

Interesting location,

Nice breakfast overlooking town of Goreme. The common room has a high altitude feel and a woodstove for cold weather. Osman showed us some areas outside of Goreme, and Gulbahar was very pleasant and friendly. We felt welcome and happy. There are small private areas outside for seating, looking out over Goreme.

Comfortable Base

A very nice little cave hotel with great views from the breakfast room out over the cappadochian countryside. The first room we were given was on the ground floor and my travel companion felt air down here would cause problems with his asthma. The hotel staff were great and we were moved to a different room straight away. Cave style takes some getting used to and the room was quite dusty from the soft rock was but all in all a place iw ould recomend for the money.
