Delightful

There are many stairs not only at this hotel but at many of the hotels in the area so if you are handicapped just be aware. However the staff at Zara Cave Hotel is very helpful and will carry your bags to and from your room as well as show you the amenities. The bathroom is well appointed and includes all kinds of items including toothpaste and toothbrush. The breakfast is wonderful with freshly made pancakes and other yummy delights. The view of the floating balloons early in the morning is easy to watch from one of their balconies.

Zara Cave Hotel A Must Stay!!

The Zara Cave hotel was centrally located and was absolutely phenomenal. The customer service was one of the best we have ever experienced. The beds were comfortable, breakfast was delicious and great water pressure in the showers. We walked everywhere from the hotel. It was truly exceptional! Our kids stayed in a fairy chimney which was really cool. One of the only hotels with a chimney!!

I stayed at Zara Cave Hotel with my fiancé to celebrate my birthday, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The hotel is cozy, charming, and beautifully designed. From the window of our room and the stunning terraces, we had spectacular views of the hot air balloon show every morning truly magical! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. They helped us book all of our local excursions and even found us the best private tour guide. When my hot air balloon ride was canceled due to weather, they quickly arranged another flight for the next day and refunded the difference without hesitation. That level of care and service is rare! I'm so happy I chose Zara Cave Hotel to begin a new year of my life. I will definitely return one day with friends and family to share this unforgettable place. Goreme and Cappadocia stole my heart and Zara Cave Hotel made it all even more special. Highly recommended!

Zara Caves is a lovely hotel. I was a little worried before we arrived that our room would be dark and feel a little claustrophobic as it had no windows, but there was no concerns when we arrived - the room was very well lit and spacious and it was nice to do something a little different to what we're used to. As a family of 4 with two older children - the room was a great size (we were in King room 103 - the largest room at the hotel). The hotel is in a great location, right in the center of Goreme, so all the good restaurants and shops are within walking distance and all of the tours are nearby, so the drive is never too long. The highlight for us was the terraced areas where you can watch the balloons in flight at sunrise. We had the chance to go up in a balloon but wanted to see them from the ground too, and the Zara Cave terrace was the perfect place to do this from. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, messaging us well in advance to offer suggestions for tours etc and to help with transfers to the airport. We couldn't fault anything and would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Cappadoccia.
