Set in the Milan neighborhood of the great city of New Orleans, less than a mile from the Garden District and only two blocks from St. Charles Street Cars, this three-story, historic home is a wonderful way to experience all that the Crescent City has to offer! Guests can walk two blocks to St. Charles Avenue for the uptown Mardi Gras parades. Inside, you'll find restored vintage features including hardwood floors and exposed original brickwork alongside updated amenities and decor. Visiting chefs will love the well-equipped, gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances (including a wine cooler) and plenty of countertop prep space.

Meet up for formal meals in the dining area with a gorgeous table for eight, and then pick from one of two living spaces including one adjacent to the kitchen with a TV for streaming your favorite channels. And outside, take advantage of the fenced yard, or sit out on the furnished front porch or upper-level balcony and sip your mint julep while you watch the world go by.

Love ke staying in a filthy run down frat house
The neighborhood was dangerous looking with A vacant building next door to the property where people loitered all day and night. This wasn't a house. This was a triplex upon entering the house was filthy and looked like a frat house That was in need of dyer repairs. The house was actually dangerous for an elderly person. Definitely not handicap accessible. I was constantly in touch with the property management regarding things that weren't working like the heat and air and getting the hot water to get hot. I'm not even sure that the owners are aware that their property is in such utter disrepair. I took many pictures and forwarded them to the property management that I was in touch with. This property boasts that there is a tram within two blocks of the property but we didn't consider it safe to walk two blocks in any direction from this property. The front gate code only worked sporadically. Thankfully we did have the clicker for the gate so we could drive in and out and feel safe. When we arrived, the front of the house had a huge pile of trash in front of it and as we pulled into the driveway, the back corner of the property was also piled with trash. Overall, this was just an absolute fiasco and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. My opinion of this place isn't to bash anyone. My Hope Is that the owners of this place will be updated. But if they already knew, shame on them. I am waiting to hear back from the property mgt. company in regards to compensation.

Cute Home, Dog-Friendly Inside
First, this home was cute and very convenient inside. There’s an incredible kitchen overlooking the living room well-equipped with leather recliner sofas and a TV. It was perfect for a Thanksgiving getaway. The bathrooms were well-equipped as well. The beds are fine if you don’t have a picky or light sleeper. (My husband woke up every time I got out of or in bed.) We weren’t thrilled with the front gate and front door since both were so difficult to open, and I couldn’t physically open/close the front door at all. We went through the back door when only one of us left, but there isn’t a way to lock it/unlock it from outside. The biggest issue we had was finding a place for our dog to go to the bathroom. The listing says there’s a yard, but it’s a small set of bushes with no grass. The area beyond the gate had broken glass and trash, so we were walking clear around the block each time in a not well-lit area. Everyone we passed by was nice, but it’s a bit unnerving to walk that far away from the properly at night or early in the morning. Although we liked our stay and are accustomed to older quirky homes (ours is 100 years old), the lack of a yard would have been helpful to know since that impacted our stay.

Charming property, good location
We very much enjoyed this house with its tall ceilings and beautiful furnishings. It was in a good location, close to everything we wanted to see in New Orleans.
