A walkersâ paradise, pick up one of the many coastal paths or woodland walks in and around New Quay, or walk in the famous poet and writers footsteps along the Dylan Thomas trail around the village. In the village you will find a tennis court, football pitch and bike/skateboard park, as well as independent shops and a good selection of restaurants, pubs and cafeâs, as well as the obligatory seaside fish and chip shops. Take your fish and chips or an ice cream down to the harbour wall and watch the fishing boats in the bay or take a dolphin watching trip to get closer to the resident pods of bottlenose dolphins. If you can tear yourself away from New Quay there are plenty of other options for exploring including 60 miles of coastline and the coastal path. There are secluded coves at Cwmtydu where seals go to have their pups in the autumn, and at Llangrannog you can enjoy the view from two coastal pubs.
New Quay Honey Farm and tea rooms are worth a visit and the colourful Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron is a 10-minute drive. Just outside Aberaeron youâll find the National Trust property of Llanerchaeron. The coastal towns of Aberystwyth and Cardigan are also within very easy reach or venture inland to the market towns of Lampeter, Tregaron and Newcastle Emlyn. During your stay why not indulge and treat yourself to a complementary therapy, reflexology, aromatherapy, massage and Reiki healing is available (at an additional charge, by direct arrangement with the owner). Beach 350 yards. Shops, pubs and restaurants 350 yards.

The property does not have an electric car charging point and you cannot charge at the property due to insurance purposes, however opposite the property there are 4 charging stations at the top of the car park.

We had a great week in this cottage and would probably stay there again but I do think the sofas in the living room need replacing as they are very shabby and worn out.

This cottage was warm and welcoming.
This cottage was warm and welcoming. Unfortunately we hit a bad week and it was cold and wet but we stayed warm and dry. Everything was perfect from the welcoming bread and welsh biscuits to the butter and milk in the fridge. We enjoyed our stay very much especially when you could go down to the harbour and watch the dolphins jumping - such a delight.I cannot praise it enough and my friend even wants to return next year.Thank you.
Fantastic cottage which is situated in a perfect location.
Fantastic cottage which is situated in a perfect location. We didn't use the car once which is always a bonus. New quay has everything from the best coffee shops to the most friendly local pub we have had the pleasure of visiting (Penrhiwllan inn) huge portions and very welcoming and dog friendly. Oh and only a 6 minute walk from the cottage. We would highly recommend taking full advantage of a massage which is arranged through the owner. Caroline comes to you and it's the best money ever spent! Soooooo relaxing and advanced techniques used. If you do have a massage the first night would be best as the cottage smells of wonderful aromatherapy oils for the rest of the week. There are boat trips to see the dolphins but just go to the harbour wall and see them for free. Once the boats went out a pod of dolphins came splashing byðƞËâŹ
