Perfect Getaway Spot

This our fourth time to NSB and fourth staying in the Oceanwalk complex so we know the lay of the land and what these condos and their layouts should be. Serenity Sands was lovely—exactly as described and exactly what we needed. Alexandra went out of her way to ensure we were settled and satisfied. The kitchen and pantry were well-stocked, as was the coffee bar. The master bedroom was spacious and comfortable as was the master bath. All these units have balconies, many of them overlooking the parking lot or road. Serenity Sands is tucked nicely into the north corner of the property and the lanai (which is screened in, thank you!) looks west over the intercostal. Quiet and beautiful sunsets. Over 14 days we only had one surprise. One midweek day a work crew started using hydraulic hammers to tear out tile in the condo next to us, starting around 9-10am and going pretty much all day. You couldn’t stand to be inside it was so loud. It's nothing our host, Alexandra, knew anything about so it’s not her fault. It just would have been nice to be forewarned by the building but there were no signs. Such is life’s surprises. We alerted our host and she did what she could. It certainly did NOT ruin our trip and, again, it was out of Alexandra’s control. This a great place and location. The two association pools are easy walks as is the beach access (about 4/10’s of a mile by our calculations). The pools get busy on nice days so you’ll want to get there early. Highly recommend.
