Our experience trying to check in after a long 6 hour drive was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Due to heavy snow, there was no accessible parking available near the hotel entrance. We were told to park on a large mound of snow or find parking far away from the property. If a business is going to remain open during winter conditions, it should ensure that guests can safely access and park near the building. This situation was especially concerning because I was traveling with my elderly mother, who uses a cane and cannot safely walk long distances on icy surfaces. I attempted to check her in first so she wouldn’t have to navigate the hazardous conditions. To make matters worse, we were told there would be an additional charge for a handicap accessible room. Charging extra for an accessible room felt unreasonable and inappropriate. Ultimately, the hotel could not properly accommodate us, and we were forced to book another hotel at our own expense. The hotel we found afterward provided a handicap accessible room without any additional charge and handled the situation professionally. Between the lack of safe parking, the attempt to charge more for accessibility and the overall handling of the situation, this felt like an operation that takes advantage of out of town travelers. I would strongly caution others, especially those traveling from out of state or with elderly family members to consider other accommodations.

the toilet was leaking. I was offered 2 other rooms that smelled very badly. One of fish , the other of cigarette smoke. Housekeeping took FOREVER to get to my room to clean up the water. After using the bathroom in the middle of the night, water leaked again from toilet. It was gross. Also someone was outside yelling the whole night.

The motel was clean and the bathroom does have hand soap, conditioner and shampoo. However, the service of the “continental breakfast” could be improved… they placed the 2 bags of wonder bread in a bread box and had a bit of cereal which didn’t look so fresh. The fridge with the creamer needed cleaning… there was frozen ice where it shouldn’t be… and the bottles were super messy. Oh and you should let your clients know the hourly cost for checking in early BEFORE they book.
