This stay was very convenient and close to everything you need to see in the city, especially during the holidays. However, the gym was advertised as open 24/7 and I was kicked out every night of my stay by the staff who stated it was closed around midnight. I usually work out late at night into the early morning and this completely threw me off schedule. This occurred all 3 nights during my stay.

Great location!! Attentive staff! Comfortable rooms. Great size for New York. Highly recommended and will stay again. Just a note-- I will never give a property five stars if they charge a resort fee. It's just deceptive. However, Hard Rock did ameliorate this somewhat by providing a food and beverage credit. But still-- HOTEL INDUSTRY PLEASE STOP THIS PRACTICE.

I chose this hotel mainly because of the rooftop, especially during the Christmas season. Unfortunately, the rooftop was closed on Sunday and Monday, which was disappointing, as this was a key reason for my booking. Another inconvenience was the difficulty in using the hotel’s own restaurant, since reservations were required and availability was very limited, even for hotel guests. That said, the hotel itself is very good. The rooms are excellent, comfortable, and well maintained. The valet service works well, and overall the property has a high standard and great location. It is a great hotel, but better communication about rooftop availability and easier access to on-site dining would significantly improve the guest experience.

We have stayed at other Hard Rock Hotels, and they are all always very nice and the staff is always extremely helpful. The rooms are nice and clean, and they go overboard to bring you anything. Look forward to staying at another one soon.
