Quite arguably the worst experience I’ve ever had. Don’t let being near Times Square or MSG fool you. My room had bloody pillows, used/unflushed toilet. AC didn’t work and probably never been dusted since it’s opening in 1919. Just don’t do it.

The Location was amazing!! Check-In was the worst; the express checkin did not work and the wait to see the staff to check in took 37 mins and where in no hurry to assist and had attitudes to match. The room was decent not super clean but expected with older rooms, using the number to call any staff was a waste (never got a hold of anyone). Express checkout was great. It took only 2 mins.

Hotel looks impressive initially but run down and kind of dirty inside. When checking in they only had 2 people so it took almost on hour in line.

Stains on the interior part of the bedspread rug absolutely filthy. Rug a hazard to walk on view of a roof hallway rug filthy and ripped mice running in hallway

Location was good - close to train and subway. But the room was awful. The people loitering in lobby and front of hotel were seedy! The price was a draw but I will be more discriminate in the future. Will not be back here again.

8th floor room had paint falling from ceiling, paint peeling from tub and while room never updated... waited 45 minutes in line to just check in.

Although the Hotel Pennsylvania is centrally located the condition of the room was atrocious. Carpet was ripped up at the bathroom door. The heat barely worked. It is a very old hotel that needs much of a face lift.

Hotel is nice but the bathrooms need a huge upgrade. They were clean but the tub in our room needed to be reglazed. It was peeling everywhere.
