If you’re looking to stay in the Times Square area, this hotel is an excellent choice. Our room was spotless and surprisingly spacious for a New York City property. The common areas were beautifully maintained, and the rooftop restaurant was a wonderful bonus with a great atmosphere. We also really appreciated the complimentary morning coffee and evening wine — such a thoughtful touch. The staff was consistently pleasant, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to be in the heart of New York City.

Alles perfekt - schöner Frühstücksraum. Einzig, dass zu dieser Zeit eine Baustelle am Nebengebäude war und das ganze Nacht durchgearbeitet wurde. Deshalb kriegten wir ein anderes Zimmer und damit war das Problem behoben.

This hotel is not a good value. The building is old and the new owner attempted to update, but it is only cosmetic. I visited in winter, and the windows let cold air pour into the room, the HVAC systems seem old, and the hotel restaurant on the top floor has no heat. The same space is used for a bar, but it closes early, so no drinks to take to your room. Breakfast was freezing, guests wearing winter coats for a very mid buffet of cold food. Location is good for theaters but I won't be returning here.

Enjoyed my stay here much more than the last time a year ago! Stayed on a higher floor, less subway noise and vibrations made for a more enjoyable experience. Rooms are clean, tidy and bed was comfy. Could have done with a coffee maker in the room, but there is a great “happy hour” of sorts downstairs in the late afternoon and I guess grabbing a free cup of coffee in the lobby makes up for it. Given the snow and the extreme cold during my stay, I can report the room, lobby temperatures were great. The restaurant/bar, on the other hand, was cold and so uncomfortable I had to leave and hoof it to Starbucks down the street. Otherwise this is a fantastic hotel.

The staff was great and the hotel is nice our room was very clean and spacious. The layout of the room results in a small bathroom and a tiny closet. There is a full length mirror but it is across from the closet in a dark narrow hallway that leads to the bathroom rendering the mirror useless. The room lacks storage since there are only three very small drawers, 2 under the safe and one in a nightstand. The biggest issue overall is the noise. There is a lot of street noise we were on the 4th floor and in the corner of 8th Ave and 48 and it was quite noisy. We were able to sleep but for a light sleeper this would be difficult.

The window in the room was broken and condensated and leaked freezing air and water all night. The front desk told us there were plenty of rooms and they could accommodate us after our train cancelled, when we went to book the night they suddenly said they could not accommodate. The front desk was not nice about this whatsoever and basically said tough luck. The doormen and bellmen stereotype and only help people with high end luggage. Definitely won’t be saying with Kimpton again
