Everything else was booked and this was one of only a handful of options. For $800, a clean, small no frills room in a small hotel that shares its lobby with a restaurant. Service very friendly. By booking more in advance there would have been better and cheaper options, but last minute beggars can’t be choosers.

Great location but room far too small but I understand that is NYC hotel rooms, Kettles and Microwaves available but no idea where you would put one?! No real lobby as you arrive into a bar and restaurant used by the public, which seemed popular. We always felt like intruders walking to the lift after a long day in the city. Would we stay there again, probably not as prefer a more modern hotel, the elevator took an age to move up and down. It is a clean hotel so can’t fault that just not sure where they get the four stars from.

Good location, and the housekeeper I interacted with was very nice and helpful. However, my overall experience wasn’t great. The bathroom floor hadn’t been cleaned properly - there was long hair on the floor that wasn’t mine - and I could hear a lot from the room next door. I also found the front desk staff unfriendly. During check-in, check-out, and even when I asked for a new water bottle (one of mine was already opened, which felt unsafe), they seemed annoyed and not very helpful. The stay wasn’t terrible, but I think there are better hotel options in this area for a similar price.
